I would also like to cover FI/CO - but have very limited knowledge - would you have some ideas of amazing (and maybe not widely known/used) tcodes - something like EWCT

I am running an automation with Power Automate Desktop that automates the user interactions in sap gui (SAP GUI for windows 760 final release patch level 7) using the script recorder.

After ~90 minutes running the automation the SAP GUI screen "freezes" and the automation can't do anything...it's really annoying.

I am using SAP Signature Theme. 

Anyone is familiar with this? any suggestion? thanks!

Is there any kind of parameter that determines maximum amount of kg's that can be placed on single handling unit? While creating an sales order on an material that's 1000kg+ net weight system does a split on two seperate handling units, even that in reality there's just one. As long as it is below that, it works.

What's interesting is that while doing test in t-code /SCMB/TEST_PB system allows single handling unit to be heavier than 1000 kgs, but just not on sales order.

I've gone through all the master data of material and packaging material (pallet) itself but cannot find anything that would help, even if, there are no signs of any maximum capacity entered.

Where can this limit be placed and why it occurs only while creating a sales order, not on package builder test?

Hi all, In our production system a process chain was failing due to a value with special character and another one because of duplicate records. I've made some changes in a DTP of an infoObject.

1. Checked the "handle duplicate records" flag under update tab.
2. Excluded a value with special character via filter option in DTP.

Now, I'm trying to move the DTP to quality for testing. How do I do that?

When I capture the DTP in a transport request I'm getting RC=8 error while transport to quality.

P.S. I'm still learning BW. Any help is appreciated. Also if you can please link to resources.

I am just starting to learn RAP and already thinking what a massive departure this is from what we are used to, in terms of "Classic" ABAP.

It's a very extensive platform for developing enterprise applications, and it seems almost a waste for SAP to just use it for their own applications.

But it seems it would make sense, if you used a blank ABAP system, e.g. on BTP, to leverage RAP for building your own enterprise apps.

Or do we, as developers, only get to see RAP in action by SAP and make enhancements here and there?

I would be interested to hear anyone else's journey with this.

I am using the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) table to source the bulk of my data, along with Account Document (BKPF). I am looking for Cash Discount and Reason Code fields. I know these fields exist in the BSEG table and I can combine BKPF with the BSEG, but running S4 so my scope exceeds what I can accomplish with the BSEG, so was wondering if ACDOCA either has these fields or there is another table I can combine that stores these.

SKFBT - Cash discount base in document currency.

I am wondering if the SAP world operates similar to Salesforce, in that, do SAP implementation companies ideally build have to build relationships with SAP AEs and try to get the AEs to refer business (with new implementation or support) to them?

Auditors have been asking questions about access to programs like RSCDOK099 (report to delete change documents).

What stops someone from deleting change docs such as Change Log for Client Opening to cover inappropriate activity? Or assigning themselves elevated access and removing the PFCG change log to cover it up?

Is there a change log for the change logs? Can users actually do the things the auditors are asking about? Not a ton of information out there about Change Log Deletion...

Ive only seen fake demos or things that would require so much maintenance or things that would never pass an audit.

Is there an easy way to integrate data from IBP to Datasphere? Our consultant did a connection on datasphere but it's a nightmare to use, can only be used with data flows and you only have to pass one unit of measure as a filter at a time. Any brilliant ideas?

I wanna make some RFC calls from VBA and power automate (using SAP ERP connector) and I would like to know which type of user should I create in SAP (I assume technical one, not dialog) as well as the roles required for making RFC and BAPI calls.

I am consuming an API REST service directly from ABAP.

The API has oAuth Token authorization, however, I cannot use the oAuth 2.0 Client AS ABAP because the API only allows Password Grant Type, which is not supported by the oAuth Client.

Due to that fact, I'm implementing the API calls using the HTTP and REST client classes. I would like to handle the token expiration to avoid requesting it for each operation call.

How can I securely store the token?
