I can't find the tool bar! first time it's happening:( what should I do ?
Hey everyone. I’m very new to rhino, using if for interior design purposes. I am trying to export my model as an Illustrator file. I click the “save geometry only” option when exporting, but it still exports with the wire frame and all the layered bits are visible. Does any one know how to change that? I’m on a PC on the newest version of Rhino.
Thanks in advance!
Hi, I'm looking for a method to measure linear distances on models with complex surfaces (I'm specifically measuring corals which are approximately semi-spherical and have a lot of rugosity from the polyps). Since the overall object is curved, measuring with a polyline doesn't measure the distance along the surface of the mesh it just draws a line through empty space under the mesh. Is there anyway to restrict the polyline to the surface of the mesh? Or another way to measure along the contour of my model? I built and scaled the models in Agisoft metashape if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance!
Edit: I figured out a way using the "Polyline on mesh tool" which can be accessed on the left tool bar (see image) or by _Polylineonmesh through the command line.
at not being able to perform boolean operations because it doesn't really do any CSG. It's a bloated, glitched mess, with a nightmarish codebase. That's why it will never do operations that Fusion 360 or other proper solid modeling software can do with ease.
Hi guys, I have a few Rhino files (3) that I have been trying to edit but I always just make it worse than how it started. I'm essentially wondering if someone could help me out with a pretty quick/straightforward change for anyone who knows what they are doing. It would be a lot of help to me. Thank you!

Has anyone had the experience of using Rhino-Flamingo rendering and had the malfunction of renders which are at a smaller size than is specified in the Rhino rendering and Flamingo rendering windows? My render is set at 3300x1417 pixels in both menus, but is rendering at 792x612.

Hey Rhinos,
Has anyone used Rhino with TSplines to convert an OBJ mesh based model to a nurbs based model?
Hey all! I’m new to this sub and have been using Rhino for a few months now. I was looking getting a desktop since my computer currently isn’t cutting it. Would something like this work well in yalls opinion? https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-omen-gaming-desktop-amd-ryzen-5-series-3600-8gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1660-super-1tb-hdd-256gb-ssd-black/6402513.p?skuId=6402513
I am pretty new to Rhino, so my terminology and understanding is limited. I've only been using the software for a couple weeks and I have no prior experience with any 3d modeling software.
I can't find a fix for removing this corner sticking out in space. The corner is part of a network surface, and I want it to join with the fillet created on the back edge.
Hope that makes sense to someone, or the photo at least helps.
