I've never opened Rhino, but my professor says I need to make this using grasshopper. Please do my homework for me and send me the file to my email. It is due tonight. Ughhhhhhh.
I will also not respond to any comments. TIA.

Hi, I am a student just starting to learn Rhino. Suddenly the command window disappeared and no matter what I type, it does not work in Rhino. How can I fix this?
Trying to build a housing that will attach to the case. It's a cylinder housing for a UV flashlight and I need to build a rail on the case to attach the housing. I built it out with a lot of polysurfaces, but they won't join into one and then I made it as an Omega symbol, but I can't get it to extrude and make the shape to scale. How can I make this?
Hi Everyone,
I found this helpful YT channel about Rhino. The channel covers lots of topics like diagrams, axons, sections, display styles, parametric structures, and renderings.
I do a lot of furniture design and been trying to figure out how to get crisp white and even lighting to no avail. Please let me know if you have any recommendations
Hello
I am trying to complete a bunch of simulations for an architecture assessment
I have a rhino and grasshopper file from a university class
In the grasshopper file there are a handful and analysis's to use/complete e.g. daylighting analysis.
I did not create the files but the university lecturer has instructed us that we should be able to simply toggle the boolean toggles to true to run the analysis on our chosen geometry (they've provided us with 4 premade geometries)
According to the uni tutors we should only need Rhino/Grasshopper and the Ladybug Plug-in to run the simulations
When I do though (by toggling from false to true) grasshopper does not run the simulation. Nothing changes in the Rhino window. Can you offer any solutions? Could it be that the rhino/grasshopper files were made in an older version of the programs than the one I have?
I must stress that I have never used Rhino or Grasshopper so I really am going in blind here
Any help would be amazing, thanks
I have some stick font text on a panel in Rhino 7.
I would like to simulate the effect of carving along those letters with a V point cutter. This is not a CAM operation, I would just like to send the manufacturer a 3D model of what the final object will look like with the letters engraved.
Hello, when going to print in rhino 8, the hidden lines (dashed) become continuous. I have already changed the display and printing, but nothing changes it. How can I print the discontinuous ones?
Sup gang! I have this 3d scan of a flip flop that I converted to subd geometry. I was wondering if there was a way I could make it super long like 5 feet long in one direction without altering it in another. Like stretching it. I was thinking something with edge loops. I'm pretty beginner so I don't really know what I'm doing.
Guy how do this on rhino
Hi,
So the office I'm interning at has tasked me to try and build a simple tool in GH to export revit models to rhino in order to do our renders. I'm very new to python scripting but i managed to find a script made by the people over at rhino.inside revit that allows importing revit elements as polysurfaces and using said elements categories as layer names if I understand correctly.
My issue comes when trying to replicate this GH script I found on their youtube channel I am missing an input for the view name (Screenshot attached) and I've tried using a simple panel with the view name written down but no luck so far... Any ideas as to how I could get the view name from revit in order to use it as the filter for the elements I want to import?
ToRhino in this case being the name of the Revit view I want to use as a selection filter
Any help is deeply appreciated :)
Hi, i have recently started learning Grasshopper and Rhino, along with sustainable designs. Having practiced it for sometime now, I wanted to improve my skills and add real-time experience by getting an internship for the same. A virtual internship is what i am looking for as i have a full time job as a Master planner too. What websites can help me in this? Any suggestions?
Thank you
I am selling my Matrixgold 3 license. It's the latest version that works with Rhino 7 & 8. I'm also including tutorial videos that I purchased. Please DM if interested.
I’m looking for a contractor to help build a small plugin to extract some data from a rhino file!
Please let me know if anyone knows or can recommend someone?
I am doing a job research about companies working with Rhino in east germany. Except architecture and let’s also exclude Berlin. Let’s say any field of free form modelling, industrial design, hull design, PD,… Anybody can help?
Hi guys!
I need your help. I am modelling a base for a column consisting of two solids. the right view shows a magnification of the joint/seam between the tow solids (red detail). the two planes are perfectly coplanar (green arrow). I cannot combine the two solids by using boolean union. I have checked and redone it two times, but I still get the response "Boolean union failed". What am I missing?
Thanks for your help!
