7.Use Gameday Discussion Posts / Threads
On Gamedays there will be Pre-Game, Game, and Post-Game threads. Anything relevant to that game, posted while one of those threads is active, should be posted within the Game thread.
The sub may be subjected to restricted mode during the game and a short period after.
8.No Fantasy Football Posts
Posts/Comments pertaining to fantasy football are discouraged in r/raiders. Please use another subreddit (e.g., r/fantasyfootball) for fantasy football related discussions.
9.No Politics
r/raiders is not the place to discuss politics. If you would like to discuss this there are countless subs dedicated to that subject. All political posts/comments will be removed and the poster may be subject to ban.
10.No Sales, Solicitation, or Self-Promotion
Sales, Solicitation, and Self-Promotion is prohibited. Anything posted with the sole intention of self-gain will be removed. Chose the Raiders to support. What do I need to know?
I'm from the UK but living in Mexico. My wife's family (Mexican) love the Cowboys and the 49ers. Both seem a little too like UK football's Manchester City for me.
From what I understand:
- Raiders have a very passionate fanbase
- The head coach, Antonio Pierce, seems a very talented coach and is loved by the community
- Raiders quite recently moved to Vegas, was that a controversial move? I imagine that's tough for the more local fans
- Is the "just win" mentality still prominent within the team and community? I had saw that Raiders had a reputation for trying to winning by any means
I'd love to hear anything you'd think a new fan should know, rivalries, veteran players everyone counts on, newer players you're excited to see play in the new season, etc. Are you optimistic about the teams future?

Can we please stop shitting on AOC after only one year? His stats are very much equal to Tom Brady’s first year as a starter.
People hating on AOC after 11 starts made me wonder how other non first round rookie QBs did. So looked up the goats first year as a starter and the stats are pretty damn close to AOC’s first year. Also used the trend to see what he’d put up if he kept the same averages over the same number of games (15) as Brady in 2001. Obviously Brady made a huge lead the next year and I’m not saying AOC is close to being the next Brady. But rookie QBs need at least 2 years before you can write them off. Can we stop hating and just try to get excited for this upcoming season?

I’ll be the first to say that I love his show. He and J-Mac have good chemistry and I generally agree with a lot of what they have to say….but the disrespect to the raiders is laughable. All because we don’t have an elite QB yet. I don’t get it. Also he’s a complete Sean Payton homer, which I get because he used to work at fox and he refuses to say 1 bad thing about Payton, but we are in a WAY better spot than they are roster wise if you ask me. Anyways, I can’t wait for both of them to eat their words this coming season. RN4L!!!
