My sister and I both like to fall asleep to QI playing on the tv (separately in our own homes). It’s not the most obvious choice, with the klaxons going off, but I find the conversational tone and laughter rather soothing. I find Stephen Fry more soothing than Sandy, though I love them both as hosts. Anyone else as weird as us?
I was just working my way through Series U, and there was a "fact" on this episode that I believe was incorrect -
I have always understood pork butt to be called that due to the storage used by the butchers, specialty barrels called butts, and the name stuck - hence pork butt.
Did QI get this wrong?
(Sandi and Alan are in every episode, obviously)

Good evening everyone!
I live in Lithuania and would love to watch QI. Since I am not in the UK, I can't use BBC iPlayer or any related services. Any advice?
I can't find anything on old news websites or Google etc. I'm sure this happened though, but can't remember the details;.
In (north and west) London in the 1970's or early 1980's, a huge number of pink leaflets as part of some campaign were dropped from an unauthorised aircraft (certainly in the part where Wembley is). Literally thousands of them, and they lay on the ground for days afterwards, before eventually being gathered up into huge piles.
It was widely reported at the time, but the only clue I can give is that it coincided with Aston Villa playing at Wembley (their fans in London for the game saw the leaflets in huge piles still lying on the ground near the stadium). So that would either be;
February 1971 (League Cup final against Spurs).
March 1975 (League Cup final against Norwich).
March 1977 (League Cup final against Everton).
August 1981 (Charity Shield against Spurs).
(Am leaning towards one of those middle 2 games as to when it happened - so Norwich or Everton fans might remember it too).
What was the campaign about? I've forgotten. (I don't think it was gay rights despite the pink leaflets but I might be wrong).
Hello all, I need a bit of help. I've recently told a friend about a fact from QI where someone did a study about the best way to wipe after pooping, and I can't find the episode where they discuss this. Can someone please help, either with the particular episode in question, or by giving me the piece of trivia they had mentioned on the quiz? My friend and I would be much grateful! :)
Usually QI is Welcome famous comedian or
Welcome famous actror.... things like that
Which completely takes me off gaurd till this day is Corey Taylor from Slipknot doing QI and which I could see in the episode, he enjoyed it very much

Don't know if this episode exists or If smoking crack but I remember an episode where everyone was saying the royals must be pricks and they ask stephen which one is an asshole and stephen let's out a Freudian slip on which member of the family he doesn't like? Did this happen or am I imagining things??
Can anyone tell me the episode where they talk about the original song that was reworked into the James Bond theme?
It's a Sandi episode, so in the last few years.
"I never thought that there'd be a time when I was QI and I'd hear James call Bridget a racist." - Joe Lycett 😂😂
as someone who had to search quite a while for the answer, i hope i can help anyone that’s had the same difficulties.
the best option is to use a website called dailymotion. i recommend downloading ‘undetectable adblocker’ (first option, red shield with a white x on it) on google chrome as an extension, or the site is basically unusable because of the ads.
search up the series name and you can find videos from the user ‘deaddogsmoking’ of the full episodes from all seasons!
Not that I know, but I want to. could be the endless vanity, but.. anyone?
"Why does Edward Woodward have four Ds in his name?"
"Because if you took them out it would be Ewar Woowar"
I must have last seen this episode over 10 years ago (maybe 15) and this bit has tenaciously hung around in the recesses of my brain, just to pop up when I least expect it.
Me: putting my son to bed.
My brain: "Ewar Woowar"
Hi all!
Looking for recommendations for some funny episodes for young kids (ages 7-13). Ideally nothing inappropriate (playing it at a school)/ not too much inuendo. They'd probably love a couple fart jokes...

It's driving me mad. Maisies buzzer especially I recognise, but can't place. Its not on the credits or the wiki. Any help?
Google is no help and I can’t find it. I believe there was a joke about wanting to have the hob to rename food and renaming toffee apples as toffee bastards. Please help me!
