QUT created a timetable for me, but for my two units I only have two 3 hour blocks?? Is this a new thing? I can’t find any info about it on their website. I also have no option to look at other class times so I feel like I’m stuck with these?

SWB333 has one 3 hour workshop, and SWB307 has a 3 hour lecture.

Hi guys! I'm a first year law and psychology student at qut this year. I'm coming from new zealand so I need my usi number to enroll. They told me I can only get that once I'm in Australia - so I can't enroll until I'm physically present there. All my other friends going to Australian unis had similar issues but their unis bypassed them and let them enroll without usi number but qut is not letting me do the same. I'm a bit nervous because to move countries without having the guarantee of my course because I haven't enrolled? and advice is welcome!

I got this from asking a query about a sanction. It didn't seem official and I've heard of no one else getting it. Also there's no details on whether to accept or anything. I've tried calling the number giving and it goes to voicemail. I've emailed and gotten no response. I used the online chat thing and the person I spoke to didn't seem confident but did say the email and details were definitely from QUT. How come my microbiology prac is located at KG? How is that fair for me to have to travel to two completely different campuses in the span of an hour??

Hey Guys - i’ve been allocated an online version for both a workshop and lecture for subjects i am really needing to go to in person. There is only two options for each of these being one in person and one online, as the in person one is full i’m assuming i’ve been placed in online.

Can i just show up to these like can i still do it in person even tho it says im online? Or wil i still get the same stuff out of it even though im an online student.

Hi everyone, I've been allocated an online lecture for Introductory Engineering Maths instead of in person, which I selected, and all of my other lectures are in person.

For anyone who has taken the class, or any virtual lectures, would you say I should try to change it, or is it just as effective as the in person class?

Also, since I have to do one lecture virtually, i've thought of just switching all of them to virtual so I have a more flexible work schedule. Has anyone else done this? If so, would you say it made things easier, or harder for you?

If this is the case, if I complete lqb187 would the option to do xnb274 become available as an elective in the study planner?

I was wondering if it is worth it to bring my car to uni or if i should leave it at home?

I’ll be staying in the city and public transport is easily accessible but I worry I will need it as I won’t want to always rely on public transport. Is it worth it to pay for a parking spot?
