I've seen TSO so many times since the early 00s that I debated not going this year - I normally get fan club tickets with good seats in September, but Ticketmaster was being stupider than usual and I was so annoyed that I decided I'd skip this year. But Lost Christmas Eve is my favorite TSO disc and there were a couple decent seats left, so I bought a last minute ticket behind and to the right of the sound board.
Lo and behold, mid-show Caffery calls out Jon fucking Oliva, and every Savatage fan in attendance lost their minds. I know he's been having a rough time of it with his health, so it's nice to see him out and about and jamming to the music, even if it's in a wheelchair.

I've looked far and wide online but can't find any pics of the vinyls, just one of the box itself and the hype sticker. Wanted to see how the records look like since I found one sealed box for sale. If someone have pictures of I would very much appreciate to see them! 😊
It can be any artist from any era. Just something that really surprised you this year in the prog metal realm.

I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND!!! All 4 of their albums are complete masterpieces!!! Anybody else feel this way? I cannot wait for their next project
FFO Cog, Karnivool, Fair to Midland
Hi, I'm looking for recommendations where the song builds to an incredible climax
Most of Ne Obliviscaris fit the bill, but specifically things like Phyrric and Eyrie etc
Arriving somewhere
Unbreak my heart
Unchained melody
Lapetous
Valley
All genres welcome, but because NeO really scratches that itch, I've come here for the goods
