I’m currently editing with effects on an adjustment layer and paired a shake effect preset I made with the echo video effect. It works exactly as intended for a few of the clips I add it to but after one too many it will pull a random frame that does not move with the shake I have added. And even when I go and put it on a different pair of clips, that random frame is the exact same one that shows up. I know the issue is the echo because once removed, the random frame is gone and the effect works. If someone could tell me why it’s doing this and how I can remedy it that would be great. Thanks!
Hi, I just installed Premiere Pro 2025 and my problem is I cant see videos on the timeline. It's not I can't drag them, I can, and in the previsualization I can see the video, It's like a visual bug. Also it only happnes when i drag the horizontal scroll bar of the timeline all to the left, if i move it a bit to the right the videos appear. I could edith with this but it's a bit tiring and gives me an extra step everytime i scroll to the left. It's really anoying, I tried deleting media cache but hasn't helped. I don't know why if I use that same version on another PC and it works just fine
I have a sequence of assembled clips and I'm creating sequence markers. Mostly works fine, but for at least one clip in the sequence the markers don't show a thumbnail image but instead a red/white checkerboard.
If I make a clip-marker there is a thumbnail, it's only the sequence markers that exhibit the issue.
Changing edits in the sequence changes which markers are checkerboard or have correct thumbnails. Any advice?

My client sent me a text preset that they use for all their projects, but for some reason whenever a I use it the shading looks different. (We are using the same sequence settings) I tried to fix it in many ways but still looks wrong. I NEED HELP
Anyone know of any autocut plugins or hacks that are useful in premiere pro?
My autocut-plugin's free trial expired so I'm looking for something new.
A hack I've always relied on is transcribing the audio into text and strategically cutting clips afterwards. Any other tips or tricks you know of or enjoy?

Hello, I have been trying to use the view effects from the motion bro presets pack, but when ever I try to use the peephole effect for example this is how it looks like:
I tried contacting motion bro but didn't get an answer back, can anyone help please?
How do I do this effect/transition
I am now working with 6K RAW and gathering numerous 12(ish) TB external drives full of footage. Most are USB and internally are SATA.
I am starting to wonder if getting a 6 drive NAS makes sense as it would allow RAID 5 and I am hoping faster access. My thought was to remove all these drives from their USB enclosures and put them in the NAS.
Am I crazy? Is this a bad idea? Any NAS recommendations? Better ideas?
I haven't had any success doing it in premiere so I export out and do it in davinci or filmora ..but would like to keep the workflow in premiere if possible .
Im looking to translate Spanish audio and shoot out a basic subtitle and /or translation into English
Thanks.
I asked the Adobe community the same question, but I couldn't get any answers
If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please answer
I went from the buggy 2024 version to the 2025 version, and I enjoyed the 2025 version, but I eventually found the bug again this time.
First of all, the specifications of my computer are like this
MAC M1 MAX 32GB 512GB
As you can see in the video, the window that you can modify by double-clicking on the subtitles was originally clicked, but in this 2025 version, you can see that it will be released as soon as you double-click
If there's a way to fix this problem for a while, double-click the effect you put in the caption and double-click the caption again to use it as it should be
However, these measures are bugs that occurred again shortly afterwards, which significantly slows down work and peak stress
If this is only happening on my Mac, I can't help it, but I'm willing to reset the Mac
I have some vertical aspect video I am putting into my 16:9 horizontal video. On most places when this happens, the video is centered and then on the edges, the video is copied but blurred. How do I achieve this effect in Premier Pro?
hi!!
i was wondering if you could help me with some problems im having?
ive been trying to export this video for hours now... first 4 times it wouldnt even play on my windows media player; on the fifth it had audio but no video. on the sixth it export all 47 minutes and did play with audio and video!!... for 1:45 before saying it had problems with the coding...? it shows error 0xC00D36E5 which if i understand it means the file is corrupted but i have no idea how it would even happen?
ive attached screenshots of the error message and the exporting configurations. im trying to export it a seventh time as i write this, any advice is appreciated ><
my cpu is 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13420H 2.10 GHz
Everytime I open Premiere my workspace looks like this. I have to go to Windows > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout for it to be normal again.
My PO:
i7 13700K
64 GB DDR4
1TB nvme Windows and Adobe
4TB nvme Footage
8tb hdd backup
1660 Ti (waiting for the nvidia 5000 series lol)
So I am just learning what turning color management on does, and I had color corrected an entire feature film without it enabled. I am now wondering if I'm screwed, because it seems that having that setting on shows me a true representation of my footage(?) and of course it looks quite different
Is there a way to export a video file that is as accurate as possible to what I see while editing in my timeline with color management turned off? Or maybe I apply some timeline spanning adjustment layer to account for the difference?
I'm not sure if I'm explaining things properly, I'm new to exporting such large projects
apologies if posted in the wrong place or with wrong flair.
My old computer died. dead died.
my current computer had motherboard failure and i had to build a new one (kept the same harddrive luckily).
when I open Premiere Pro, it says my serial number is already in use by 2 devices.
devices that don't exist anymore.
support is saying the only way to deactivate the serial number on those devices is to log into them and deactivate them. which obviously isn't possible.
They keep insisting they can't deactivate it on their end, and that i should buy their monthly subscription.
which is absurd. I bought the CS5.5 creative suite years ago for like $700. I'm not going to buy a subscription service to replace it.
anyone have any suggestions? Adobe just keeps trying to get me to buy the product AGAIN. If their sever can recognize the serial number installed on other devices, surely it can disable or deactivate on their end.
Hi all, new to this, with a question that I'm sure is very basic but has defeated my Googling abilities. In the image linked below, you'll see a graphic in the upper right, imported from Photoshop. I want it to be perfectly in the upper right corner, right to the top and right edges, but it doesn't snap when I move it, unlike a text box there are no alignment buttons, and the best I can do right now is just drag it as close as possible or use the positional sliders to get it close. Is there a way to get it exactly at the corner in some convenient way? Thanks.
normally my premiere inherently opens up in horizontal formatting, but the one time I actually need it to be horizontal, it’s vertical. can someone help me get it to be horizontal? i’ve tried looking on youtube.
I'm on a multicam sequence on Premiere 2025 but whenever I hit the button to activate it, only my A-Cam is visible. If it makes any difference I have labeled the A and B cam in the metadata tab to jam TC. I'm hoping there's something obvious that I'm doing wrong that you guys can point out. Any help would be great, thanks!
I've been struggling trying to figure out a good workflow to get this accomplished with minimal effort (as I have about 12 hours of footage to go through, and this is a hobby thing that I only have some evenings/weekends available for).
Here's what I have:
- High(er) quality captures from a film transfer projector that grabbed each frame of the Super 8 film. But this has no audio.
- Low quality projector-to-camera grabs of the same Super 8 film (video and audio).
The problem is that the projector speed (and thereby the audio speed) isn't 100% consistent throughout the film. So to synchronize it after the fact, I can grab the audio track and fix the start point to the video captures from the transfer projector, but a minute (or less) in, the audio gets out of sync.
Ideally I would like to be able to set multiple "sync" points between the video and audio tracks and have Premiere scale the audio track automatically to these sync points, keeping the video track the same.
Is there a way to do that? I have tried some manual steps to get close, but it's a ton of work that in my mind should be easier to accomplish.
Also -- if Premiere isn't the right tool for this, are there alternatives anyone can suggest to speed up the workflow?
Mbile clips edit in premiere pro #premier pro
I have this problem where crackling sounds appear in my monitors whenever I touch something inside of a premier, even when every audio is muted or turned off.
Title says all. I've read all previous posts about this question. But this is 2024, please tell me there's a plugin, mod, script, to stop the Timeline panel from moving every time I miss the playhead by 0.001 mm.
Hey guys,
I want to copy a small clip from a layer somewhere above the target layer in my sequence and paste it directly into the desired track (e.g., V4). To clarify, the clip I’m copying isn’t necessarily from the layer directly above V4, it’s just from one of the layers higher up in the stack.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
But no matter what I do, when I paste the clip (Ctrl+V), Premiere creates a new track above all the other layers instead of pasting into the targeted layer (V4).
Does anyone know why this happens? How can I force Premiere to paste directly into the track I’ve selected without it creating new tracks every time?
thanks.
