when im trying to record the audio is gone its just no sound how do you fix this please im on windows
Plus give me overall feedback please.
It looks like it makes transitions a lot easier, but at $25 per month I balk at the price - that's double what I pay per month for my premiere pro sub with everything that comes with it - paying double the price just for transitions just leaves a real nasty taste in my mouth, even though it would be a time saver.
Anyone else use it and think it's worth it?
I pay hundreds of dollars per month already with all the different SaaS subscriptions I have, so I'm open to one more if it's really worth it, even though I loathe this never ending cycle of just basically renting software access forever.
Like if I imported in a green screen video, removed the green, how could I place that behind a person or something?
Guys i have seen cool edits for movies when i tried to edit like that the sound effects in original clip comes with background music I can't get rid of it but people do that they make audio clear as hell without the bg music let me say a example there is this glass breaking scene in movie with bg music but a editor removed the background music how they can do that and it was very high quality audio and that is not stock audio.. these amv for animes also do the same... can anyone give details about that how to do it where do it ?
New to editing. What possibly could be the reason of this happening? Using prem pro 2023 Export at adaptive high bitrate
Intel or Amd? Amd seems better lately with the Intel issues. Is Intel quick sync that much of a benefit for h264?
From Sir Ivan:
Fellow Editors, if you've ever needed to create multiple versions of your edit: add different intros/outros, music tracks, and captions in multiple languages, prepare versions in various aspect ratios. Then you know it is double trouble. Cauldron is a new extension that will generate multiple sequences from clips. Drag and drop clips or groups of clips into Cauldron, adjust settings and let it brew. Other features:
Cauldron works both on macOS and Windows. It is compatible with Premiere Pro 2020+.
The price for Cauldron is $25, but you can get it until 10th of November for $20.

Our VDI environment operates on VMware 7.0u3 with Windows 11, a setup we’ve reliably maintained since 2017. This environment supports a diverse range of workloads, from non-engineering tasks to high-performance engineering and design, with consistent success. For high-end engineering workloads, we utilize a new cluster of HPE Gen11 servers with AMD CPUs (4.15 GHz), each with 64GB of RAM and NVIDIA L40S GPUs on the 6Q profile, supporting fully persistent desktops that ensure a stable, personalized experience for our users.
Our engineering teams, particularly those using SolidWorks, have experienced zero issues running on these servers. Currently, we are using NVIDIA Grid driver version 16.8. However, we’ve encountered significant challenges with Adobe Premiere Pro on hosts equipped with the L40S GPUs, where hardware-based encoding results in slow processing times, frequent crashes, and errors. Interestingly, when we move the same vDesktop to our failover host—an HPE Gen10 server with a 3.0 GHz Intel CPU and an RTX6000 GPU—Premiere Pro runs exceptionally well, with fast encoding times and no issues. We are actively investigating this performance discrepancy across the hardware configurations.
Anyone encounter issues like this before with Adobe workloads?
I recently learned how to place text behind something or someone but how could I do that with a green screen video? Thank you!

There's a vertical old film strip with a vintage/old style. I've been searching for something similar but all I can get is 3 images stacked, and not something like this one which is perfect.
Can anyone point me towards the right direction to copy this?
Hey,
As a beginner where would you start learning video editing? I get the part to hop in the program and start doing, but besides that is there any good material which is STRUCTURED to learn step by step? There are so many YT videos that it is very overwhelming for a beginner.
Is there anything you would recommend?
Thanks,
Roland
Working on a music video that’s being edited while it’s being shot, so new footage comes in each day that i need to sync in the raw media project while the editor works in their own current cut project. I was syncing some shots when my office lost power and my raw media project hasn’t saved in a few hours. If I recover the auto saved version and delete the crashed copy, will all of the media in all of the sequences throughout the entire production need to be “reassociated” to the recovered raw media project?
We are two Mac studios working off a server in premiere 24
With the original video, I just ctrl + drag, but the cropped one has a bigger outline, is it possible to resize it to the crop or how would I do so
I have a nested sequence here with an offset effect + a slight blur on an adjustment layer to try to create a rolling film effect. Looks fine in premier, but comes out weirdly cropped in final render. Any idea what I can do to fix it? The rest of my video looks fine, only this part is looking weird.
Hello,
I am new to editing. I want to add in time stamps/ chapters audience members can jump to in the video. I know it can be done on YouTube. I see that feature all the time in YouTube videos, but I don’t know if I can make those in Adobe, or if they have to be put in once it is uploaded to YouTube.
I have tried to look up tutorials, but I can seem to find the right thing. I either find markers for editors, time codes( like a stop watch on screen). I feel like I am searching it up wrong.
I'm trying to move the text position to the left however it becomes cut off before it reaches the end of the frame. There is no mask being used so what is the reason for the text getting cut off?
Whenever I want to check that my tones match, I always add a shape to both clips and use the hex picker for fill to check. I'm getting pretty sick of this though, a few clicks too many for my liking. Is there a better way that I just don't know about?
I know it is easy to delete words by searching them but what about deleting everything else?
I am trying to delete everything other than when someone said “like” to show them they need to work on not saying it because they said it literally 538 times in a one hour podcast.
Does anybody know a work around to do this quickly?
Hey,
I'm looking for raw footage of vlogs or other kinds of video's. Just for the purpose of practicing video editing. Does anyone know where this is available?
When using the Color workspace, I see two sequences: the main one and another labeled "Program: [sequence name]." However, whenever I try to navigate and preview clips in the main sequence, it automatically switches to the "Program" sequence instead, making it difficult to preview the timeline correctly. Any suggestions on how to prevent this automatic jump?
I was using a GTX 760, but now I can't open 2024, 1060, 1660 or 2060 projects. Could you solve my problem?
I want the rotobrushing tool from AE but hate transferring clips back and forth. Is there perhaps a third party program designed for Ai-Masking (that is reasonably efficient compared to the AE transferring)? that would be SUPER useful THANK YOU!
Beginner question,
I've downloaded couple of Font packs from envato that supports alternate ligature but it seems to not work in Premiere. I've tried it in text boxes and captions and also turned on/off the ligature settings but it still not working. Is there a solution for this?
