PTCM is a hub for sharing above average, planned video camera operation; capturing calculated recording angles; maintaining good camera control, general perception, also properly controlling what's in the frame.
Interesting content is not necessarily a solid ground for giving praise regardless of how good the content is on its own.
Please dedicate a minute & read the rules before posting to make sure you don't violate them
Graphic and sexual content
Violence, harassment & the encouragement of endangerment of others (animals included).
Possibly unwanted personal exposure
Memes, job postings & politics.
This sub is dedicated for camera operators who are to be praised, not for entertaining content. Posts neglecting to give reasons to praise the camera operator will be removed. Posts also need to contain the video OP is referencing.
Incidentally captured content doesn't qualify. However, a stationary camera designated to capture a specific content viewed is valid.
It's nothing against still photos. There's already r/photography, we are going to stick to videography.
It's nothing against drone operators as it does take a good amount of skill. We don't allow them because they already have their own subreddit at r/drones.
This sub is about camerawork done with the camera at the time of the recording, not done in post-production.
The obvious inspiration is our dear subrother:

I’ve posted directly here as crossposts are auto removed.

This guy holds the gimbal better than most people hold their children. Also shout out to the cameraman’s cameraman.
Imagine you have to pilot a fighter, imagine you also have to follow a rocket and you're still able to capture such amazing footages... PRAISE THE CAMERAMAN AND PLEASE, FOR ONCE, PRAISE FRANCE
(They were protecting the rocket against potential threatsm...)
