The high power blue laser can light a match , burn papers and plastics.
You can check this video for the details.
Do you know if it can damage the drones ? Such as damage the cameras ? Make the drones crash ?
Anyone know if there is still a way to use this drone without the official app? It’s been pulled from the App Store and I can no longer use it. Old and basic drone I know but still worked perfectly well. Is it now consigned to the scrap heap?
Hi! If this is not a welcome post then please disregard. This is a major long shot but on January 11, 2025, my husband and I were on a cruise (the Diamond Princess) and as we pulled into Sydney Harbour there was a drone capturing our arrival. We all noticed it flying around and I think it would be pretty cool footage to see, as I was standing on the viewing deck at the very front of the ship. I thought I’d post on here to see if by some small chance I could find the person who took the footage.
My parents house was destroyed in the recent LA fires. Took this today 2.1.25 using a Hover Air drone. For a 125 gram fit in your pocket, no need to learn anything tool its great. The house being destroyed...not so much.
I bought a 10-inch from eBay.. no, not that kind. Just trying to find out the name of the receiver installed on it. Appreciate the help!
Can I fly a drone from the comfort of my home at night to explore the neighborhood?
I need the help of the drone community, because I'm not sure what other community may have this type of knowledge. The end result question is about what drone operators use.
We're working on an electronic device that needs to cut-off the a 11.1v 3s lipo when it drops too low. Problem is that we're working in a 2.1in x 2.1in x 1.5 in area, so the LVC (Low Voltage Cut-Off) needs to be small. It does need to cut-off power as it could be awhile before we retrieve the electronic to turn it off if otherwise.
I haven't been able to find anything that fits these parameters, but in drones, this must be a common problem.
So, I guess my question is, what do drone operators use for an LVC? Is there an obvious unit to recommend?
I just got the Radiomaster Boxer max and I am trying to figure where I am going wrong. I keep getting the same error when trying to build the F.I.R.M.W.A.R.E. on ELRS Configurator.
This is the error I am getting.
I tried posting in FPV, But the word Firmware contained the word "war".

My wife is coming home from Taiwan in a couple of months and drones over there are a hair cheaper than here. She's planning on bringing me one as a gift. Does she need to declare it on her customs entry form coming into the states?
I got my drone pilot certification (RPA 0-5Kg) back in 2017 in Spain. I've just recently been hired for a shoot and it'll require requesting a license for flying in a no-fly zone, so I knew I needed to redo the medical, but I just noticed there's a whole new certificate.
Is it true that we can just basically trade in the old one for the new one? Do I need to take the exam again?
It seems that the content of the exam is very similar to the one I did at the time, and I see it's free. I just would prefer not to have to prepare for that exam in such short time for this shoot. I have to admit I don't exactly remember how to calculate aircraft buoyancy anymore.
I've looked at the Spanish AESA website and I'm confused with the wording on how to proceed.
Anyone have experience with this and can share some wisdom? I assume it must be similar in other EU nations.
Thank you!
This is probably a longshot, but a friend has basically a "toy" drone they got and asked me to help get going for their kids. It works with the remote to some extent but is supposed to go with an app.
Trouble is the company is gone, the website is gone, and neither the Apple nor the Google app store QR codes work. I'm wondering though how custom the software really was in the first place. Has there been any kind of a common platform that got re-badged / re-branded a bunch for these cheap drones, so that maybe some generic app might still work with it?
It's a hukkkyvit sbg616 and here's some of the original paperwork (incl. links and QR codes) that came with it if anyone recognizes the general design:
Instruction manual cover showing drone and app download codes, etc.
I just need to know what to put it on plz someone dumb it down for me
So I've been trying to digest just how folks fly legally in urban areas. If it's all just mostly done wrong cause the refs are mostly enforceable after the fact if something goes wrong well nothing more is needed.
Like this video or even the other post with a drone shooting the unfortunate crash. Some guy posted about getting a LAANC authorization for the crash flight. I guess that negates the need to not fly over others? But this video dude is flying over the public and cars. Thought you couldn't overfly people who aren't involved and aren't covered or in a vehicle stationary.

So I haven't flown in over 2 years, due to illness. I charged up both batteries and completed my registration on the UK site by answering 37/40 questions right. Turns out, in the intervening 2 years my standard, Hubsan supplied batteries went flat and won't take a charge.
(I've ordered a replacement, slightly more powerful battery from Ali Baba. Fingers crossed on that one.)
Last night, a Learjet 55 crashed on Cottman Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia Crews worked overnight to extinguish the blaze and this morning, efforts continue to clear the debris. A big thank you to the first responders and my condolences go out to the families and individuals impacted. Credit: Billy Kyle - Instagram
I recently got my radiomaster boxer a few days ago from Race day quads and it has been working well. I’ve only been using it on the simulator because I haven’t gotten a drone yet but recently, I’m not exactly sure when, it started making a grinding noise with the throttle stick. The gimbals felt really nice and it now feels really bad to use I really don’t like it. I want to know how to fix, whether or not I should or if I should get it replaced/returned with the RDQ if I can, and why it happened so I can prevent it because I feel like this should happen under casual use, please help.
Hi , I have recently started with drone designing. I don't want to buy a airframe online. I want to design a custom Drone airframe. Can anyone help me, from where I should start and how
Someone gave me a drone, and I got it stuck in a tree. I have no idea what to do because my family sold the big ladder. The branch is too thin and upright to climb, and shaking it seems to make it worse. The propellers are not moving.
Hello everyone! I have just joined to do some research on the industry.
My son has recently come into quite a few robots with the holidays. One my partner and I noticed is that our house is too small for them. Also, there are no recreational locations to go to and play around or practice flying, programming, driving, battling, etc.
So, I am looking to see if there would be an interest in an indoor facility that you could take you robot (drone and ground) and practice flying around (missions, racing, general) and/or navigating a robot (battle, inventory, gardening)?
We are interested in an indoor facility so someone could us it year round, no matter the weather.
Where are most of you from in the US?
Where does most of the interests hi to: air, ground, or water?
What are some things you woild like to see in such a facility?
How much would you be willing to pay for an hour of pilot time?
Thank you for your time.
I am looking to design a spring-loaded propeller that can fold perpendicular to the spinning plane. Does anyone have experience with this or know how feasible this is?
I know I might be a little bit late this game but I finally got myself a mavic mini second hand I bought the original mavic mini. I was looking at ordering some spare propellers because it did not come with any as well as a nice propeller guard while I learned to fly my drone. I had assumed that it being the oldest model there would be plenty of availability for spare propellers and accessories like propeller guard however it would appear I was mistaken. I can't find anything for the original mavic mini and there seems to be some questionability as to the compatibility of parts from the mavic mini 2 which seems to be the oldest model I can still find parts for as far as propellers and prop guard goes. If anyone knows how I might be able to order propellers and propeller guards for an original mavic mini that would be greatly appreciated. Equally if anybody has used propeller blades or guards from a mavic mini 2 or other mavic mini on the original mavic mini that information would be extremely helpful.
