Post-anarchism is an anarchist philosophy that employs post-structuralist and postmodernist approaches

Post-anarchism is an anarchist philosophy that employs post-structuralist approaches. It is not a single coherent theory, but rather refers to the combined works of any number of post-structuralists such as Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Jacques Lacan; postmodern feminists such as Judith Butler; and post-Marxists such as Ernesto Laclau, Chantal Mouffe, Jacques Rancière; with those of the classical anarchists, with particular concentration on Emma Goldman, Max Stirner, and Friedrich Nietzsche.

Common concepts within post-anarchism include:

  • the misalignment of the subject in relation to discourse
  • the denaturalization of the body and sexuality
  • the rejection of the repressive hypothesis
  • Foucault's genealogy
  • the deconstruction of the binary oppositions of Western thought
  • the deconstruction of gender roles through feminist post-structuralism

Which texts are the best critiques or counterarguments to post(structuralist/modern)anarchism?

I remember previously seeing a post on this thread where someone mentioned an article that people should read for a good critique of postanarchism, however it appears that thread was deleted. The commenter mentioned the article would be a good supplement to reading postanarchist texts. Hopefully someone will share that article here, but I’d like to learn about other good critiques.

Can someone help me?

I want to understand what post anarchism is and how it pertains to post structuralism, postmodernists, Nietzsche, Foucault and what the end game is. Also how is it to be implemented?

Hi everyone. Because of continued right-wing BS on Reddit, a lot of radicals have been moving over to Raddle.me . https://raddle.me/f/theory and https://raddle.me/f/egoism would be of particular interest to subscribers to this subreddit.
