New song just released!
I've been listening to postrock and postmetal for some time now and with my former band on hiatus for a bit, I figured I would start my own solo project and start writing again. I have a few songs in the works, with two completed. This one in particular is the first song I completed and released.
This song was inspired by The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri and includes some narration.
Would love some feedback on this. I appreciate the listen and follow if you like what you hear. Cheers!
"Recently, I was looking for bands similar to Oathbreaker since they are on a break, and someone recommended Predatory Void to me. And oh my god, what an amazing band! The album Seven Keys to the Discomfort of Being is perfect. I’m not sure if this is a well-known band, but for me, it was a great discovery. By the way, if you have any similar band recommendations, I’d appreciate it!"
=French post-metal band that sings only in French
A journey to an unknown place...
I think the band is still fantastic without Kelly. There’s three vocalists other than him if I’m not mistaken, so I think they could manage without just fine. I just think it would be a shame if one of the best metal bands never put out another record just cuz one of the members happened to be a piece of shit.
Hey! Chewing Glass Collective dropped their debut record a month or 2 ago and this last track has some properly cool post metal vibes.

FFO: Post metal, black metal, death metal
And by early I really just mean Souls at Zero.
I love it and was hoping there was anything else like it out there?

Hey, guys! I was just wondering which the majority would say is the capital country/City of Post Rock or Post Metal genre. Like most of the subgenres have a city or a country which is more characteristic of the style, either because of being the nest of the genre, having some of the biggest bands or simply because the popularity of the music, amount of concerts or artists. For some reason, I tend to believe Belgium. Mostly because I've noticed they tend to held some festival with focus on Post bands (considering it's not a really big country, it might indicate more interest on the music per capita) and seems (at least to me) that the genre might be slightly more popular there than other countries, apart from some bands such as Brutus or Amenra coming from this place.
But I'd love to read what you all think!
This one might be interesting, it took 10 years to release a debut EP
