It has a 3.0 liter diesel, good for 367hp. Top speed of 250kph. It'll be used fast intervention vehicle. Good choice in my opinion.
Another non-muscle, non-traditional FHP ride. This time, the car wasn’t seized, but rather donated by a supporter of the agency.
I had seen this exact Tahoe traveling elsewhere in Kentucky sometime last year, but never got around to posting it. From the looks of things, it’s likely a K-9 unit from what’s in the rear window, and is the 2015-20 model. One thing seeing the different Tahoes over the years when I have lived in this state: KSP (and CVE predecessor KVE) might have skipped the first and third-generation Tahoes, as I didn’t see many of either on the roads, if any at all, while I had seen third-generation Tahoes in use in Virginia (as motor carrier units) and Tennessee, and my home/birth state of Michigan used every generation of Tahoe in some form.
