So I'm currently in the Team Rocket Hideout and i was asked by Jesse/James what I was doing there, I answered saving Cubone, but I think this is the 2nd time I've been asked that. What happens if you select the join Team Rocket answer ? Is the Dialogue that much different? I can't find this answer anywhere
Bonjour
Qui a le jeu Let's Go, Pikachu ou Let's Go, Évoli ?
Je veux compléter le Pokédex de Kanto et ces Pokémon me manquent:
N23: Abo
N65: Alakazam (Évolution de Kadabra par échange)
N68: Mackogneur (Évolution de Machopeur par échange)
N94: Ectoplasma (Évolution de Spectrum par échange)
Finally got around to battling the Pokemon League and completing the story. By the time I got to the league I was undefeated and had never lost any battle with a trainer/gym, and I certainly wasn't going to let that streak die at the very end. It was honestly super super fun and somewhat challenging, and a great way to "end" the game.
If you've played Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu, what was your next game or other Pokemon games you've played that you liked? I'm looking for my next game and I really fell in love with this one. ☺️
I have a level 20 something ninetales I evolved from vulpix. Will ninetales be able to learn flamethrower or do I need the TM? Or wait until the all-Pokémon move tutor?
Thanks
First ever full odds 4096 shiny, not only that, but a legendary lmao
I just beat the elite 4. Lost to rival, went back in and it’s making me re fight everyone again? Am I missing something? It’s a huge turn off if it’s gonna make me re fight. I can’t go through doors. And no I didn’t save before fighting rival or I wouldn’t be posting this. Thanks
I'm planning to run some slow team like Slowbro... Bummed halfway to think the move doesn't exist. Or is it available elsewhere?
Hi! I completed the game years ago but my 10 year old recently go into it. All good until she started going in the typing in random codes to get pokemon from others. She came to me all excited that she got me a ton of shinies (Mewtwo, legendary birds, dragonite, like 20 shinies ) for any regular pokemon and also even someone's partner pokemon!? (It's a Pikachu.. we have let's go eevee , and it's wearing clothing)
Obviously these are hacked. She doesn't care she's just excited to have shinies cuz they look cool, but I am concerned. Can this break her game? Or worse get the Nintendo account banned? (And if so would it be banned from just this game or all games, she also plays dreamlight valley and animal crossing and pokemon snap). Should she try to get rid of them? Can she just send them to the professor type thing?
When I was a kid and played BW I used my master on cobalion and my friend told me I wasted it because he wasn’t a real legendary and I should’ve used it on kyruem. I swore never to waste another masterball again. I got to the cave part right before the elite 4 and saw moltres. Should I use it on it? Will any better pokemon like mew/mewtwo show up later??
I really enjoy LGP LGE, it's a great game with nicely polished graphics. But the core mechanic of "level up your party by catching Pokemon", and especially "catch 10 of the same species to get extra multipliers" is pretty stupid.
Why would pokemon gain fighting experience from their trainers catching other pokemon? Pokemon gain experience by battling. The party share exp is cool and makes sense (and as early as gen 2 had EXP share item).
Why do I want to catch more than one or two of the same pokemon? Its honestly boring. It's wasteful and clogs up the pokemon bag and then takes a while to turn them into candy.
It takes away the fun of battling the elite four a few times or repeating a battle with gym leaders when spending 2 hours in cerulean cave trying to catch chanseys gets me level 80 pokemon.
I avoided leveling up my pokemon via catching because I thought it was a dumb mechanic, until I totally had to
Im farming xp, not shiny hunting, but, in 200 catches i got 3 shiny rattatas (1 was in a 37 combo, the other one was in 42 and the most recent was 83) 200 cuz i lost one of the combos. So i wanted to know if, rattata shiny is just really easy to get or im just lucky. i have the SS of them all in the catch combo too!
Hey I'm trying to get a Mewtwo cause I'm stuck between where
i have to get the Pokéflute
Where i have to get rid of the Big Ghost in Lavender Town
Kicking Team Rocket's butt in Celadon City
The battle timer for mewtwo expired before I could beat him, now he is gone. Does he come back or am I screwed?
Want to go for the fossil reset shiny. How many fossils would you need at least to get of each to do it so I don’t have to reset that much?
Do you do turn in all fossils of all species and then reset or only do one kind of fossil?
And do lures work?
There’s the black belt west of the pokemart tgat asks which you prefer and proceeds to give you two choices, Growlithe or Meowth. I’m already passed this point but I always wondered what would’ve happened if I picked a different answer. I got a Persian out of it but does he give you an Arcanine if you choose the latter?
I'm currently on 5200 encounters
I'm trying to shiny hunt the gift arcanine and I wanna know if I'd need to check the pokemon each time or if I can restart at the pokedex screen
I'm wondering if it's still possible to get Master Balls in Cerulean Cave? I've seem videos, maps, guides, and drop tables all over for this, but after 4 hours of farming I still haven't found one. There are 5 spots mapped out that drop pokeballs and with a soft reset you can hit them all in under 2 minutes. The drop tables show it having a 1% drop rate.
With a conservative estimate I've done about 120 runs hitting 600 drops. It should have come up close to 6 times now.
Is it still in the game? Have the drop rates changed? Or am I just hitting an unlucky streak; because most reports are people getting one in 15-40 minutes?
Doing an all shiny run. It started out smooth, got a shiny Ratatta on Route 1, and shiny male Nidoran on Route 22 fairly quickly. Now I'm back at Route 1 attempting to get a shiny Oddish. I have a catch combo of 501 and I am ripping my damn hair out
I just got the game and I was planning on going for a full shiny team, my first target is Bulbasaur
But I've been running around for an hour and have only seen 4 😭😭 how am I suppose to build up a catch combo of 31, much less 31?!?!?!?
I'd appreciate any suggestions or sumthin
I don't know maybe I am the only one, but was anyone else underwhelmed by the teams Red, Blue and Green used in Lets go? For example, Blue uses a Charizard, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, and Exeggutor. That means that 4/6 pokemon on Blue's team are also found on Lance's team, so I think these teams deserve some variety. I think the best way to do this would be to add alolan forms to each of their teams. Being that these are gen 7 games and regional forms were the one of the new gimmicks added I think they were underutilized especially for Let's go. I mean we do see these characters much older than compared in FRLG this could have given them some time to explore other regions.
Blue's team:
Alolan Dugtrio, Tauros, Alakazam, Exeggutor, Gyarados, Mega Charizard Y
I believe that this fit is best fit of the three. In the past we have seen Blue be quite found of ground type pokemon such as Rhydon. This makes sense being that he is the Virdian city gym leader, so to give a nod to the previous gym leader, Giovanni, is better than having an Aerodactyl. A pokemon already used by two other prominent trainers in the region and a pokemon we have barely seen Blue use in the past.
Green's Team:
Alolan Persian, Clefable, Gengar, Ninetales, Victreebel, Mega Blastoise
I believe this is a good fit for Green as Alolan Persian feels like a feminine pokemon, and of course Green is a female. Additionally, I considered Alolan Ninetales, but Green already uses and Kantonian Ninetales. I could have also seen Alolan Muk on her team, but Green already has quite a few poison types are her team already, leading me to choose Alolan Persian.
Red's Team:
Alolan Raichu, Snorlax, Machamp, Lapras, Arcanine, Mega Venusaur
This will probably be my most controversial pick out of the three, so allow me to give my explanation. At first it might seem like a crime to not include Red's iconic Pikachu on his team however this is not the same Red from the past games. This is an alternate timeline Red. In this timeline we see the player character has the Pikachu/Eevee, so to see another character also have an unevolved Pikachu feels kinda jarring as it makes the player feel less special and unique. Think about it in most pokemon games you never see trainer characters use your starter pokemon on their team. Additionally, for Red to have a Pikachu on his team it just feels wrong to have such a weak pokemon on the what's meant to be the toughest pokemon trainer you battle. His pikachu doesn't have a light ball item nor stat buff like the player characters partner pokemon, so to fix this I say give him an Alolan Raichu a stronger form of his pikachu that doesn't out right replace it with a totally different pokemon.
I saw that in Pokemon Let’s go (Evee for me), with the combo, we greatly increased the chances of shiny.
So, I decided to do begin a run and do some shiny hunt at the very beginning.
After a shiny pidgey fly a way from me, I decided to shasse the female nidoran on route 22. I got the 31 combo and… nothing.
I already saw more 1500 female nidoran appeared in front of me, spend more than 9 hours and no shiny. I have no lure, no charm obviously (I just began the game), but it’s still seem to be a 1/341 chance of shiny, that’s a 98,8% of already finding a shiny.
So, Am I doing something wrong (like a shiny lock I didn’t know, or something), or Am I just very unlucky on shiny hunt on Let’s go ?
I am playing through Eevee, and to get the pokemon experience i decided to go for a team of eevee, snorlax, charizard, blastoise, and venasaur, but do I evolve my pikachu or do i keep it to match my eevee?
Should I swap out Radicate for lapras /water type and your feedback on the rest of my team would be much appreciated!
