I just beat the second gym leader and made my way to pinwheel forest. Currently, I have Pansage for my grass type (level 17) but I just caught a Sewaddle (level 15).

I kind of want to switch out Pansage for Sewaddle due to its dual typing, but I've heard Pansage can be pretty good at higher levels. I've used Sewaddle before (in Pokémon Black 2, though I've never finished a run because I wanted to play the first one first) but I've never used Pansage until now. How do they measure up to each other?

I also traded over some pokemon from my black 2 game to restart it after I finish this one, would it be a good idea to add my traded Oshawott into my party? I can use traded pokemon up to level 30 and it's level 24.

I know there are only certain games that you find find the Pokemon starters in. I’m not sure what those games are if you know please tell me. But I’m trying to complete the Pokedex this playthrough. At the same time I don’t want to be on a fools errand.

I’m currently four gyms into the game. I don’t think my team is the best but it’s doing ok. Sort of.

I’m going to do a lot of training to level up this team since my Pokemon can be up to Lv.50 right now but are there any Pokemon I should add/remove?

I’ve played Pokemon Black and White before but I can’t remember the best time to evolve Pansage. What’s the best level to use a leaf stone on him?

Working on an origin dex for home and just finished White 2. But I’m thinking it might be easier to do in my finished copy of Black due to only having Unova Pokemon on most routes. I know I’ll have to go around to different versions for exclusives and legendaries. But for general catching is either better?

These seemed like the most balanced teams I could com up with while including most of my favorite Pokémon from the generation (Unfortunately I wasn’t able to fit Golurk in a team but I’ll try at some point)

I'm doing my first ever playthrough of White and was really hoping to get an Eevee! Unfortunately, it's only available in BW2 without trading... Since I can't see one, I can't just post on the GTS. I just beat Clay and don't have a ton to offer, but I do have plenty of Oshawotts if anyone needs that starter? Or Pansear? Or any version exclusives I have access to yet.

Playing Pokemon White post game, and my goodness! I realised how under levelled I am. Any Tips?

Just finished my pokemon white run and started white 2 today, used my black 2 to start on challenge mode and was just grinding up oshawott for Cheren's gym and found this puppy! I feel like I will be super unlucky for the rest of the run!

I’m starting to think I might have an actual creepy pasta for pokemon black, today, I’ve reached 60,008 soft resets for oshawott, and the little bastard has not appeared😂

My boy won me the golden trainer card! Now I only need to finish the national dex (a lot of trading and using the Poke Transfer).

I got a used copy of Pokémon white in the mail today that has most certainly been genned on. It runs fine but how can I tell if this is a bad copy? Is there a possibility that this was a rom-hacked copy that I won't be able to get legit mons on? There's also event mons on the copy that seem legit but I'm HIGHLY skeptical they're legal especially with all the hacked mons on the copy. (No badges, full dex, lots of shinie mons that are DEFINITELY not legal.) Would the event mons be safe to transfer to bank and into home? If the copy is legitimate I plan on resetting the file to get rid of all the genned mons.

TL;DR How do you tell if a copy of black or white is fake? Even if there are genned legal looking event mons on the copy, would it let me send those mons from bank onto home without a ban?

First time playing White, just about to take on the second gym. Will then be moving on to Pinwheel Forest and would like to know what Pokémon to add to my team. Current team is:

Dewott Drilburr Woobat Blitzle Roggenrola Timburr

Tempted to get Petilil or Sewaddle but like the look of getting Galvantula or Volcarona later on and don’t want to double/triple up on bug types. Anyway advice would be most welcome

Is it still possible to get gigalith in black and white? I’m considering it for a future play through but i don’t know if the trading services are up and if so how to use them.
