PLANT CITY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert on Monday for a missing teenager out of Hillsborough County.
Breanne Spivey is a 13-year-old girl who was last seen Saturday in the area of Sparky Lane in Plant City, authorities said. She may be wearing glasses.
Breanne is described as having brown hair with brown eyes, standing at 5 feet, one inch tall and weighing 100 pounds.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200 or dial 911.
Throwaway since I live in town. I was trying to find an LGBTQ+ organization for PC on facebook or something, but there's nothing. I know there are a number of LGBT people in town just because I've met them. Is everyone just sort of hiding from the conservative influence?
Hey y'all!
I'm looking for some insight to how much utilities can be per month in Plant City.
I'm currently in Bartow, looking to move to Plant City to be closer to my work. My electric and water is together for a 1,200 sqft 3 br/2b house, and at the hottest time my bill is $280, $145 in winter. Can I get any perspective on an average utility bill for Plant City? Thanks!

My name is Tyrell Hicks and I am a No Party Affiliated candidate running to be your next state representative.
I retired from the Marine Corps in 2022 and moved back home to Florida with my wife and three children to find our state being led by cowards and conmen.
I am running because our current representatives are awful and I want better for the State I was raised in and want to raise my children in. Instead our rights are being restricted, our public education system defunded, and the natural beauty of our State is being destroyed.
Our current representatives are for profit, not for you or I and our children, but for themselves. They care little for the success of those they represent and that is unacceptable. The current representative, Lawrence McClure, like many in the state legislature receive the maximum donation from the same entities that are abusing our people and our environment.
We deserve better and I will fight with everything I have to achieve it, but I need your support. I am not asking for your money, but for your vote and for you to let your friend and family know we don't have to settle for hate or incompetence in our representation.
The lack of accountable and responsible governance can end this November.
You can follow my campaign at www.tyrellhicks.com where you'll find link to my social media. I will answer any and all questions and since there is no party apparatus behind me you'll get a real response, straight from me.
Make sure to check your voter registration status at https://www.votehillsborough.gov/ and remember some elections will occur August 20th along with the primary
anyone know of any places good to skate like parks/trails/pavements near? I know of the one at the strawberry park but that’s a little small and the only place I know of
Hello, all...I'm here visiting my aunt, who is in very frail condition. She wants to get out of the house, but I'm thinking all we can manage is a scenic drive.
Is there a state park in the area where we can drive through and take in some views?
Thanks for any insight you can share.
Hi, just moved in the area with my boyfriend. Our shower has a pretty problematic leak from our shower head and causing a water ring. Anyone know any good affordable plumbing companies in the area?
55 mph is already a pretty decent and liberal speed limit. Today between Alexander and 60 I witnessed 4 different cars doing at least 80 and driving like idiots. So, in less than 3 miles… that’s insane. I’m not one to typically want more policing, but with the amount of people moving here there needs to be a zero tolerance standard set.
With the heat getting as high as it is, I wanted to look into ceramic tinting my interior windows to do more heat rejection, and try to help my AC work less hard.
Anyone familiar with folks in, and around, Plant City who will tint interior windows on a house?
I heard that Brandon, the owner of Roots and the soon-to-open Propagation, has purchased Linda's Crab Shack. No solid plans yet for the cuisine or even the hours.
Does anyone know of any local churches other than metropolitan ministries or the river church that might be able to help pay my utility bill? I have a two-year-old at home and if we can’t pay our electric bill by June 7, it will be turned off. My husband was wrongfully terminated and he just recently got another job, but we are so far behind and trying to catch up.
I called 211, TECO and salvation Army. Everyone is out of funds.
Does anyone from plant city drive to Tampa for work? How bad is it. Google maps says 50 min to 1hr 25 min during rush hour but what’s the usual?
Hey Reddit, I'm a former Plant City resident looking to move back sometime next summer. I miss it dearly, does anyone know a good place to find roommates, and does anyone know if there are any local graphic design firms?
I have a two-year degree, and some experience, I'm also a female.
So, I have a small YouTube channel where I drive around Plant City from time to time to test out how well Tesla's Full Self Driving (FSD) Beta software works. Mostly just to show the system's progress at being able to drive with little human interaction.
An issue I'm running into is that the routes that I've chosen, which had issues, are largely getting buttoned up, resulting in drives that have no issues.
I'd like to throw some slightly more complex navigation problems at the car.
What are some intersections, or areas, within Plant City, or Lakeland, that you guys feel a self-driving car can't/won't be able to handle?
This is the result of the recommended locations to try below
Hello! Where in plant city or surrounding areas can I buy a good quality strawberry plant? I checked Parkesdale Farm Market’s website and it says they are out of stock for the season. Thanks in advance.
