I am 4’9 so most mini skirts go right above my knees and I would like that is shorter than that. I have shirt torso and short legs. Thank u in advance 😊

i have some merch shirts that are both medium and large, and regardless of size they are equally long (half way down my thighs). theyre a super rectangular cut and as i dont really have a lot of bottoms, im not really sure how to style them at all! ive tried using hair ties to crop them but i have so much fabric bunched up that it looks super odd and is super uncomfortable ): ive also tried tucking the shirts in but im quite insecure of my stomach area, and with the extra fabric bunched up around that area, it just makes me even more insecure. the graphics are often very close to the bottom of the shirt too which sucks, i dont want to tailor them as they have resale value as well. does anyone have any ideas? i just cant stand how i look like im drowning in the shirts haha
These pants are a little big on me width wise since I usually wear a small/size 4, and the length is super long bc my inseam is around 28in.
Are there any petite alternatives that are also 100% cotton (very important because i live in a subtropical and humid climate) and cheaply priced (under $40)?
What are those brands like for short people? What are the trousers, skirts and dresses like?
I am seeking recommendations for a warm coat I can wear to work (office setting), I like pea coats and am looking for something sort of that style. For reference, I am 5’0 ft tall, and I just feel like most coats swallow me up and look overly big on me. I live in ATL, Georgia so we don’t have snow here but it does get very chilly here.
I bought this dress for a fall wedding; styled it with strappy nude heels and a rose clutch. I’d like to wear it for NYE and am looking for recommendations on how to style it. I was thinking a velvet shrug and pointy nude pumps, but what do you think?
Ok i was asked this question by a good friend since I'm normally really good at finding stuff on the internet but im not able to find much.. she would like to ask what brands to buy or where? My friend is tiny and has difficulty finding any.. she needs something that has a waist smaller than 23 inches.. most brands only go to 23 inch waist and most 23 inch waist is too big still.. kids section doesn’t have thongs for various reasons but where do you find yours?
I'm always looking cute platform boots in my size and can never find any. I want Sabrina carpenter style and they always stop at size 5 so if anyone knows a place that sells platforms in a size 4 :')
-Or anywhere that sells cute ADULT shoes in small sizes.
I never wore any jogger sets before and like something that isn't baggy.
Also, something with a crew neck sweatshirt matching top.(no hoodies)
I was looking at some off Hollister and Nordstrom..... but got scared off the reviews claiming they were bad quality( of the ones I was looking at). I really love the look of Aviation Nation joggers but I'm not paying over 100 for a jogger set.
So any suggestions?
Hope this is okay to ask here. Can anyone provide some insight into Veronica Beard jeans sizing—specifically in terms of waist/hip fit?
For reference: I’m usually a 24 in Paige; 23 in Madewell; 00 in American Eagle. 23P/24P/000P/00P in Ann Taylor and J. Crew are huge. Abercrombie and BR sizes vary wildly.
Has anyone here ordered Madewell from Europe? I am trying to understand if they already adjust their prices for VAT/customs fees or I’d have to pay separately.
Please share if anyone has had this experience. Thank you!
I'm 4'10 110 pounds my hips are a little smaller than my waist but I have a pretty flat stomach. I usually wear size small but medium in Nike sweatpants bc l like them a little baggy to make me proportional
Probably 80% of my clothes are from Aerie/American Eagle, the rest is from Garage, and a few Lululemon leggings and some Roots/Aritzia sweatpants too. I want to branch out and try some other brands/stores out but I'm kind of lost on what's decent quality/in style/slightly trendy brands and stores.
I mostly wear/like oversized sweatshirts, sweatpants, leggings(flared and non flared), oversized graphic tshirts, that kind of thing!
Obviously a site that has options for different inseams for pants is ideal, like obviously sweatpants with a cuff I can get away with not having a inseam options because I don't mind the slight bunching for something like that, but even the 25" lululemon leggings bunch at my ankle a bunch and it's annoying,
I think my inseam(crotch to top of ankle bone) is 23", so to the floor probably around 26-27"
Thank you!
I’m 5’2 and planning on buying a new wardrobe. I live on a mountain and wear “mountain woman work clothes”. I work outside a lot and always get dusty and really dirty so I don’t pay attention to fashion, just function. I’m in my early 30s and am trying to refresh my wardrobe so I can look cute when traveling to visit friends or for work. (I used to be fashionable…). I haven’t bought “normal” clothes in years other than Walmart. Does anyone have any Pinterest boards or information about what styles are trending? I am seeing non- skinny jeans, sneakers for shoes, and casual tops.. is that right? Ugh.. I need help before I drop $ on a wardrobe that makes no sense for current times. I am 5’2 and have difficulty finding clothes that fit. If you have any suggestions for websites to try, let me know. I am over 2 hours from a shopping mall (hence why I have to shop at Walmart). Thank you in advance!!!!

I am going insane!! I virtually cannot find any brown pants of this kind of fit anywhere. Thanks to my mother who was an office siren back in her glory days, she had a pair that looked just like this. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit through my hips, so I found myself scavenging the entire internet trying to find a piece that somewhat resembles it.
I understand this may not be a petite specific issue, but I would appreciate any leads and suggestions.
Hi friends! I’m looking for some suggestions on silhouettes that would help balance me out. I’m generally slender and also a bit curvy (95lbs), but my shoulders are wider than my hips and I’m quite busty for my size (30E). My biggest issue is looking like a little linebacker because of this 😅 I would love some silhouettes that accentuate my curves and add some balance to my bottom half. I’ve tried the whole vneck, scoopneck, dolman sleeve, peplum top look but none of those look quite right on me either and tend to make my shoulders appear broader (some a little outdated IMO as well). Any feedback would be sooo appreciated! Thanks!
I’m short and curvy and big clunky boots don’t look good on me. Looking for combat boots that look good on curvy petites. I have old Cole Haan boots that are amazing but extremely worn out. Any recommendations?
I don’t want to gatekeep so I am shouting it from the rooftops! I ordered a pair of the Adi midrise pilcro pants in petite, received them, tried them on and proceeded to order 2 more pairs. I am a size 14-16 and 4’10” and these pants are a perfect length with a 2 inch boot/heel. They are also 100% cotton so I’m sure if needed they can be shrunk in the wash. This also means they are soft and not stiff like denim. I ordered the pair circled pink first and the 2 circled in purple are on their way. RUN don’t walk to buy these, especially since they are on sale!
I wear a UK size 1 ( eu size 33) in shoes. I've been looking to buy some good quality running shoes such as On Cloud but I'm worried their quality is not going to be as good as adult's sizes. Can anyone confirm or have any suggestions where to look at?
I was originally really excited to buy clothing from Shein, as they have a lot of cute petite items. And I have gotten a few nice things from there. But mostly, it turned out to be a letdown. The prices are amazingly cheap, but of course, there is a reason for that. A lot of the clothes I bought there are low in quality. They either don’t look exactly like what was pictured, or they are already falling apart after a few wears.
I’m really tired of cheap fast fashion. But I also don’t have tons of money to spend on clothing. Can anyone recommend any alternatives to Shein for petite clothing online? I want something that I can afford, but it doesn’t have to be the cheapest thing out there. I just want the clothes to actually be well-made and last. And they need to match what they show in the photos and descriptions.
