The television show Party Down was originally broadcast '09-'10 on the starz network and was canceled after its second season.
It is a really funny show that many recognizable and awesome people helped create and you should watch it right now or later or again.
2021: Rumors of a Season 3 begin to swirl

We saw this at Toon Lagoon in USIoA and of course thought of this show.
But now I've joined. So that's an RDD.
It's pretty hard sci-fi.
im curious about what most peoples' favorite episode is. i think mine is the pepper mcmasters one, though it's hard for me to choose
Mine was when he flicked Kyle's tooth. What a clever asshole move
I’ve been laughing my ass off. Will it be new Ron? The new new Ron? Ron getting a shrimp out of Steve Gutenberg’s ice sculpture?
Hi there fellow catering crew!
Best quote from this fantastic episode??
Ron is talking to that fat cop with the beard. The cop says "yeah OK I've got some real funking work to do"
Cracks me up every time!!
Kinda noticed it couple episodes in on s2 and can not unhear it, its so uncanny, their voices are exactly the same.
Just started watching and binged to ep 8, wanted something with similar comedy style as Veep. I wanted to ask how did they get so many star guests even at the start of the show or were this actors not that popular back then, every episode I recognized almost any actor that has a speaking part
I am currently on Season 1, episode 6 and the only complaint I have is the budding romance between Lizzy Caplan and Adam Scott. Adam Scott's character is coming on too strong. He kissed her and said "Do you still like me?" and she is kinda annoying with him too. It seems like they only care about each other and I want them to be more ensemble. I wish they didn't focus on them as a couple specifically, too much. Separately, they are fine. I mean I haven't gotten a chance to really see them interact with other staff as much. I wish every story didn't have to have this need for budding romances. This happened too quickly out of the gate.
So far one of the funniest moments was when JK Simmons says "you're a girl, right?" and pulls back Jane Lynch's jacket to make sure she had boobs. Inappropriate? yes, but funny. I'm a woman and not offended.
I think of her holding a comically large bag of shrooms
Impressive range
“We ignore everything you’ve done for western ideals, and instead just talk about when you peed in a cup at a Dodgers game and spilled it on a little girl….”
Seemed like the premise was too predictable, and a little tired. I could tell everyone would end up eating mushrooms not just the crew (did this previous sessions, not even really accurate representation of psychedelics- or that funny, should least be one of the two)
Or the one where the republicans show up, and they give them laxatives or hot peppers, a was just sorta meh. Was a little politically vindictive, they’re all nazis but at the same time the so called dead beat protesters of the opposition were also conservatives?
I don’t know if season 1 and 2 were just so much better, and I’ve been spoiled, or it’s actually bad.
What do you guys think?
