Does anybody know how I can get a hold of the episodes for Taskmaster Portugal S4 and Surmestari Jr (with original subtitle files)?

I think Surmestari Jr started this week, so it might get posted here soon, so the second part of this request might be a moot point soon.

As they have since episode 6, this episode came with ready-made English subs. They were decent enough, but our wonderful translator, u/msbtvxq, has again checked them to correct any mistakes, and add in any omitted dialogue and helpful contextual notes.

Those who download the episodes to watch them should also download the English subtitle file linked above, since the English subs which come wrapped up in the .mkv file are the 'official' ones, including the omissions. If you do this, you'll need to also make sure you're pointing your video player at the correct subtitle file, for the full experience.

For those who watch the episodes in-browser, I have linked the video to the improved version of the English subs, so you shouldn't need to do anything.

The studio sessions for season 11 are taking place in January and, based on previous years, they'll likely start airing before the end of that month. See you in 2025!

I made a discussion post on this sub in March 2023 noting that r/taskmaster "overtook" r/panelshow in terms of numbers of members. Now it's only December 2024, and r/taskmaster has reached 200K while r/panelshow is languishing - uh Alex, Wanguishing! - at 102K.

I only make this post in an attempt to foster a rules-abiding, civil discussion about the present and future of the panel show as a genre, in the context of the (debatably) apparent overshadowing of Taskmaster over all other panel shows.

It was yet another moment where they take the piss out of Stephen. I can't quite remember the context but I think it was Bill Bailey and Alan Davies riffing on what they were talking about. The dialogue went something like:

(talking about Stephen going into a pub)

"Make way, make way! Lord Fry is here! Get up, get out!"

mimes shooting two patrons in the head

"Can anyone here recite the Lord's Prayer in Latin?"

(Stephen starts reciting it)

Season 01 is now over, so i'm making this quick pack. Has the current episodes in 720p x265, all with subtitles. I also included the 'HIGNFY On The Streets' and 'Have I Got Q's for You' segments from the HIGNFY US youtube channel in the Specials folder.

Subtitles on 1, 2, and 4 are live subs and out of sync. If anyone can find any that work right, let me know and i'll update them. I tried finding other sub files, but got nothing that worked better.
