This is not the place to submit your latest work, go to r/painting or r/idrewapicture for that.

felt a huge wave of anxiety yesterday and this was the result. i am very new to art of all kinds so please be nice!
My friends and I have a discussion and can’t determine where this is from?
Home at Dusk, acrylic on masonite. 10/2024
Any good art publications you subscribe to? Looking for something that might have interesting stories, features on upcoming exhibitions in museums, etc. Something in the vein of The Atlantic but art-focused. Thank you 🙏
This is probably very out of left field, but I saw a painting earlier of a samurai on a dark horse towards the right of the frame, and behind him was a burning temple. It was a pretty striking image and I only got a brief look at it, but I'm unable to find it online. Anyone with a background in art that possibly knows what painting I'm describing?
Mix media acrylic and magazine print as a base, 30” x 24”
The height of this painting is easily over 2 meters, wish I could've captured it looking like the scale that it is.
Came across this in the attic, I really like the style of this, if this is a certain type of style. Can anyone identify the painter of this by the signature? On thrower left is Rockport, but I can't make out the signature. Thanks in advance!
It’s an actual painting the signature says dawn, wondering if people think it’s worth anything or if someone locally just painted it.
