Traditional painting. NO DIGITAL WORKS. All other links will be aced by our space lazers. Here at r/paintings is a subreddit dedicated to looking and reading about the well known artists who are working in paint. This is not the place to submit your latest work, go to r/painting or r/idrewapicture for that.

I hope this sub will allow this query and not kick me out. I really have nowhere else to ask for help.
Several years ago on Tumblr, I stumbled upon the works of an American painter, which could be dated to the latter part of the 20th Century through to the present, I believe.
What characterized his work was a certain wistfulness, almost a sense of loss. Typically, the artist would depict city scenes though with little in the way of detail, more so buildings and streets in soft pastels.
Each scene was set during golden hour, so the apparent sun's illumination had that hypnagogic feel.
Finally, the detail that poignant sense of impending woe, was a lone figure, little more than a silhouette, walking along a sidewalk. This evoked from me a deep empathy, as it seemed clear this person was suffering loss, and all alone in the world.
I have searched through many art feeds on Tumblr to no avail. If any of you think you might know the artist I'm looking for, I would be grateful for your help.
Was in Salzburg and drove quickly past this poster for their upcoming festival. Would love to know who the author is who painted this
This piece was for my siblings first child, after years of trying to conceive. Each tree is a "tree of life" with a different night inside it. They crossed the entire forest of time together and are finally introducing their baby to the moon who lit their way.
Painted by me ( Andy dass ) 30 x 40" acrylic on canvas. Part of my planetary abstract series.
Found this gem in a museum in Florence and it quickly became one of my all time favorites. I love how the boy looks as if his entire being was beginning to merge with the water itself before the dog saved him. I don’t see it recognized very often, so I figured I’d post it here to give Ademollo a bit more recognition. Hope you enjoyed:)
