Now I hear that Ethan Crumbley is getting life without parole.
and well, it's been almost two years since this Oxford, MI subreddit was created!
Its been such a long time, but I remember that day like it was yesterday when I first created this sub!
Over time I created new subs to discuss the surrounding area.
During March 2022, /r/Lapeer was created to cover Lapeer County, and also, /r/RomeoMI Was created to cover the Romeo area.
I've gone a long way with creating subreddits!
Does anybody know a good place to skate downtown? I'm trying to learn but I'm not sure where to look.
Looks like it might be some kind of fast food building, can't really tell. Just curious if anyone has see anything on it.
As today rounds to an end, I have had time to reflect on what had happened 1 year ago today, and not only how it effected anyone that is a local, but effected people around the nation, and even around the world, the capture of lives of innocent children is never something a normal person ever wants to hear about, and never wants to be witness or involved with such a heinous thing. It was an absolute tragedy, that never, ever should have happened. Those 4 names have never left my head. Hana, Tate, Justin, Madisyn, I remember everything I've done during the hours following up to the first 911 call and lockdown, to the aftermath, I remember how I was at complete shock that something like that could of ever happened in my state, in my county, in my hometown, I remember watching the TV as soon as I got to the police department where I gathered up the friends I could and booked off too as I did not believe the initial "safe zone" was safe, and when we got to the PD I remember seeing everything unfold, and I couldn't believe my eyes, and to hear everything over the radio, which was far more direct and uncensored than any media outlet, that is something that still gets to me.
As the day ends, although it marks 1 year since a tragedy, I know for the most part, it's just a day that comes around every year, however this day I will always remember and pay homage to the ones who were injured, killed, and the ones who helped end the tragedy before it got worse. And to this very day I still thank all first responders who took that call to service and went in with no hesitation, always pushing forward and not looking back.
Sincerely, Dino

The Celtic Knot in Lakeville uses Leonard as a mailing address, but ideally, somebody should start a restaurant in the village limits of Leonard.
At least Dryden has a few restaurants in that general area.
Oxford definitely has some restaurants, but this sub also covers the Lakeville, Leonard and Dryden areas too.
