Anyone have any tips on growing these? I was surprised that 90% of the colonies I planted last fall survived the extreme southern Colorado Rockies winter we got. I’ve read that they arent cold hardy at all but I’m glad I experimented.

I realized I used a red onion in like a dozen different dishes after storing it in my fridge. Idk how it lasted that long but it’s a testament to the power of 🧅
I just realized that a bowl of fried onions with some butter and adobo is amazing as a late night snack with some over easy eggs.
