This is a subreddit dedicated to Nicolas Cage, the deity. Here, we worship and collect all content relating to the Cage, through which we hope to discern His Holy Word.
We welcome all, as the Lord would, but still fight against the temptation of John Travolta. Come, come, and hear the Truth!
Our place of devotion to the one true god, Nicolas Cage. His light guides us away from the temptation of John Travolta, and saves us from our bees.
His known prophets are Stephen King, who controls the mind, and M. Night Shyamalan, whose endings are always unforeseen. Follow their instructions, and you may achieve Mitt Romney, a state of eternal salvation and peace.
He is a sworn enemy of Xenu and his minion Obama, and fights against the aliens with the help of the FSM, commander of pirates.
Those who follow the faith of Cagenism are usually referred to as Cagenists or Nicolites, although any title that properly professes devotion to Him is permissible.
Praise Cage! May your Mountain Dew be sweet!
The words, teachings, and histories of the Cage are found in the Hat. Each chapter of this wondrous script is known as a Cat.
We do not wish to impose any earthly restrictions on His followers, but in order to achieve order, reposts are not allowed. Original content showing the glory of our Lord is greatly welcomed. If you are not sure if something has been posted before, Karma Decay is a good indicator. If you are crossposting from a subreddit that allows reposts (such as r/pics or r/funny), there is a large chance that it has been posted here before.

I was struck by inspiration this morning and decided, much like the 31 horror movies in October challenge, I am going to challenge myself into watching 31+ Nicholas Cage movies for December.
I realize when scrolling through one of the too many streaming services I have that there was a lot of Cage movies that interest me and I want to watch "one day" but I always just add them to my list to watch later and move on. I decided to stop denying what my heart desires and open it to the one true god. This mornings inspiration came from Pig and Bringing out the Dead. I decided to watch Pig, which I fuckin loved like I always do when I watch a Cage movie. So what I need is some lesser known but still loved Cage movies to add to my list. They don't have to be masterpieces, just ones you love.
I'm counting any movies I watch today towards my December goal, because much like a snakeskin jacket, this list is a symbol of my individuality and my belief in personal freedom.
So far on the list all I've got are Bringing Out The Dead (which I've wanted to watch for yeeeears but never pulled the trigger) and Wild at Heart, which I haven't seen. I'll probably throw in a National Treasure or the Rock here or there if I feel myself getting burned out but I mostly want the gems and cult classics you guys love. My favorite Nicholas Cage movie is Vampires Kiss, so I love when he's FULL CAGE. Any help is appreciated by you can also tell me to fuck myself. That's cool.
Happy Cage-mas to those who celebrate. Feliz Nicholas and a Happy Hanuk-cage to you all.
I literally just scrolled past this on reddit now he's on Instagram?😭 wtf?? Everywhere I look I see him, Picolas Cage in all his glory🤣
Picolas Cage
Can we please have a Nic Cage version??? Rub your hands together and spin around three times maybe we’ll get lucky. Don’t have a better name for him that I just randomly blurted out didn’t think much about- I’m sure there is a better name.
I can’t redeem this in Canada, so I’ll DM the code to the first person in the US to respond.
Who else has seen “Megalopolis?” Watching this dumpster fire of a movie, I had a million questions and confused looks at the screen…
But I couldn’t help but think that Adam Driver was channeling his inner Nic Cage in this thing. Also, I really wanna see a version with Nic Cage in the lead role. That would take this thing to the top tier of cult movies. IMHAO
Thoughts? Prayers?
I want to have a custom tapestry made depicting a movie. Which one would you choose? Leaning Face/Off, Con Air or Moonstruck. In the style of the Bayeux Tapestry. It'd probably be 5-6' long.
Printed out my favorite expression of Our Lord’s visage, and doodled on it. Black ink and white ink
I've trained my baby girl to only sleep on Nicolas Cage pillowcases, she's got four of them now..
Best thing about this movie is there’s hardly any special effects. Nic Cage can just do that.
HOWEVER, anyone ever notice after his first night as the Rider when he goes to talk to Eva Mendez his eyes are incredibly fucking blue??? Like no way his eyes are THAT blue that had to be done in editing. Also Nic Cage is the only man in history to pull off leather jeans.
