Hii im new to nms. Is there someone who can help me with the expedition and some basic controls ?

I have a friend who's playing on PC and I play on Xbox one, for the past month I have been loading into his sessions and visa-versa. He's playing on survival and I'm playing on custom. Now, ever since consoles have received the 4.48 update, we are both no longer able to join the available session without having to create a new safe profile first. Why has this changed? The only way we are available to do it is by sending messages via WhatsApp to meet at the space station or bases and join session from there... Are there any other ways of bypassing creating a new profile?

Not sure if there's a better place to ask because this sub seems pretty dead but I have about 170 hours of playtime and none of my steam friends have the game. I'm up for pretty much anything whether it's missions or building a base or just exploring and I don't mind if you're new or a long time player. I'm on pc if it matters and if anyone knows a better place for this please let me know, thank you!

There's a really simple way to dupe the golden vector I just started playing after not playing since launch. Bummed I missed the expedition can someone help me either dupe there vector or sell it to me?

I've been playing every chance I get but have no one to enjoy the mp experience with.

So a friend and I started playing Multiplayer and it's pretty cool! He built a small base in my save game and went back to his save game and tried to warp back to that base, which was in his teleport queue. Upon warping, he was dumped into space in his exosuit, died, and lost all his items in his exosuit inventory. No grave. The systems are not in the same Galaxy. Just wanted to share our experience in case anyone else tries to do the same!

Who else is ready for revamped multiplayer?

I think there should be a single-player universe and a multi-player universe that are completely separate.

• separate server farms
• everyone gets to name 100 planets or something starting with where you are (re)born in multiplayer and name everything, including the galaxy in single-player
• get to change seed used for each system/planet/etc in single-player, like the difference between creative and survival mode in Minecraft
• Multi-player could be FPS against players or aliens or both or neither ha ha ha
• the ability to change the name of something is currently the only aspect shared by the servers within the game, why can't we build anything else or have more toys like the half-assembled drones we see suggestively posed behind Pass-locked doors?
• I'd like the ability to completely wipe the Sentinel drones / ships off the map for a little peace and quiet in the castle or spaceport I'd like to build on my own planet.

The similar opportunities for activity are similar to Minecraft and Destiny. Why not the best of each?

You cannot meet. there is no multiplayer

There is no code in the game, no server you join. There is no server. There is no client. There is no multiplayer

NMS has 3 components

1. a level with the same planet, just randomly deformed and randomly colored, reset each time you visit it
2. a particle system that represents the galaxy, wow much galaxy. When you go to a bright dot, you end up at component 1 again, but they shift the planet around a bit
3. The UI, which really doesn't do anything, it's completely meaningless and not connected to component 1 or component 2

There is ZERO multiplayer, it's just a single database table that sends out a subset of ids and strings for stuff that can be named, which is always the same number of things, because the planets are all the same planet, it just redraws itself depending on the seed which is the id of the particle you visit.

This is the entire game.

You don't. Doesn't exist as of yet. Maybe not ever.
