I just saw the last rebuild movie again and have two questions: (I) how does the Wunder still work with no problems after Gendo steals EVA01? Misato has to use the regular thrusters but it still able to Pearce the eye of the big REI no problem

(II) Fuyutsuki comments at the end that everything is prepared and that the reconstruction of Lilith is complete (or something like that): Who is the Lilith in 3+1? Is it EVA01? (Lot of people think that EVA01 is made from Adam in the movies) Or is it REIs Soul inside EVA01 or is it EVA13?

The guy I used to date introduced me to NGE and I really enjoyed the anime and even watched the movie. Unfortunately he broke my heart and admitted he never actually loved me, just liked having me around for fun… but because of that anytime I see NGE fanart or official art, or even hearing the same voice actors as the ones in NGE give me ptsd. Such a shame that one sour relationship can ruin what could’ve been a beautiful thing

I watched all Evangelion and I think that asuka Langley Soryu has the worst story ever,I think the creator did to much horrible stuff to her in the story and it is painful,I know every character in the show is depressed and suffering but when I even saw asuka's scenes of Depression and mental breakdown I feel it is the worst of them all,I think she just needs hugs and anyone who relate to the character literally not just emotions but even in his/her real life events "I'm sorry about that" I thought Shinji is the presentation of the character especially that he is the most depressed one and he is stuck in loop during the show and the show focus on him too much unlike other characters especially asuka

Just personal opinion about the character,I think she suffered the most,have a nice day or night

I know stuff like that happen in real life but I think the creator put all the bad stuff to asuka despite the show focus on Shinji

Was it because he was the most emotional and he liked that about humans? I don’t understand what drew him to Shinji

Does anyone have random head-cannons that don’t impact the story in any way shape or form? I do, I imagine Shinji as a huge initial D fan for some reason

When confronting Arael, she’s confronted by visions of the times she’s been mean and needy. She repeatedly says “None of this is the real me” and I was confused. Does Asuka not want to be mean? I never took her as particularly self-hating, rather she hated she was failing and not being taken seriously. I always thought her arrogance and bluntness were more of a shield she put up to protect herself, not something she fundamentally disliked about herself. Is this scene suggesting she’s ashamed of her behavior, or is it more about her feeling like she’s being judged unfairly, like those moments don’t define her? If this isn’t the real her, what is?

What do you think? Is she rejecting those parts of herself, or is she trying to say something deeper about how she sees herself?

I watched the original dub, so this line may be different to others and I’m not super deep on character discussions for EVA, so I apologize if this is common knowledge, I just found it very intriguing.

The main character is X, robotic "son" of persephoney and the now god of death after Hades died in battle and persephoney was assassinated by a thunder bolt from the god of electricity, resulting in a battle between X and the god, leading to his death and having the powers of electricity being sent into X, allowing him to channel electricity into his weaponry to make them stronger and faster. Just wanted to put that out here, bye.
