Hey Naughty Dog community!
Just thought to post up and ask for any advice in landing a gig at Naughty Dog. I am a UI/Systems Designer with about 5 years experience, though none in the gaming industry. I’ve been a huge Naughty Dog fan for pretty much its entire existence, so getting a job here would be a dream come true.
Any tips or advice would be amazing, I really appreciate it!
Edit: looking for any tips or advice on how I can boost my chances in landing a job at Naughty Dog
Cooked or What!
Stopped in the sewers just after jumping the bridge.
For those who don’t know, Shaun directed the lost legacy, left to do the single player campaign of marvels Avengers, then came back to direct The last of us part 1.
Anthony was co- game directors the last of us part 2 along side Kurt Margenau. And was slated to be in charge off the last of us multi-player game before it was scrapped.
We know that Kurt is currently working on intergalactic with a different co director a guy named Matthew Gallant, (who in turn worked on TLoU part 1 and Tlou part 2 remastered)
But we don’t know what Shaun and Anthony are doing.
My guess is we could see some of the assets of online be taken over and used as a standalone single player game. Maybe a story about Tommy in San Francisco (in the grounded 2 doc Neil said he had a Tommy story he wanted to tell but didn’t know where to tell it)
Maybe they are doing preliminary work on part 3. Maybe they are making a second new IP that will release between intergalactic and TLOU 3. What are your thoughts? Am I a crazy person for knowing who these people are? You tell me
Well, between PC and console I prefer pc, but I have a Playstation because of the exclusives. I'm aware they in pc now, but I'm already have a loads of games in PSN so I can't just fully migrate, but even when I'm the console, I would like to play with keyboard and mouse, COD allows it and I had a blast when I found it. I would love to play TLOU and Uncharted with KB&M. I did used one of those tactical assault whatever that is a KB&M that emulated the dualshok, did play TLOU and Uncharted with it and was nice but rusty, kinda weird, totally not like cod or fortnite with native suport. And my pc isn't powerful enough to play TLOU
What I like to know is if there someone inside ND here and if there was at least a talk on the possibility of keyboard and mouse support, after all the games is already on pc.
Long story short, I want to play my ps5 with keyboard and mouse.
So neil druckman said the they have been working with 250 employees on intergalactic since 2020. And considering naughty dog has like 800 employees (might be not right tho) what are the other ones doing? Maybe they are working actively on tlou3 after the cancellation of tlou multiplayer. I just hope we see whatever the rest of the team working on, like 2-3 years after intergalactics release. What do you think?
Does anyone know if Uncharged 4 Legacy on PS5 will get a PS5 pro update similar to TLOUPart2?
May this be a second 21 jump street moment 🙏
I played just Uncharted 4 from the series, It really amazed me, full time action, platforming is not annoying like Jedi games, movie-like cinematics and dub in my mother tongue. I purchased Ps Plus Deluxe for one year, what do you think is playing them consecutively worth it or do I need to spare time for other games? (I work 8:30-17:30) Update: I played and finished 1-2-3.
I know production times are very long in this era, because of this in this gen whe have fewer exclusive games than ps4 era. Yesterday I checked PS Studios games in ps4 era from Wikipedia, nearly they released 30+games. Do you think will we see Intergalactic in the final year of PS5 and will it be cross gen with PS6?
