The league is dead and has been since the 2nd year. But I have some simple changes that would help.
Regulate the offense - no 5 out every play, no screen and roll every play. Mix of screens, iso, cuts, and offball movement.
Rotate players - players cannot play the same position more than once every 5 games. So all recurring players will play every position. Makes the game more varied. Bearthebeast at PF and dimes at C for example would be some unique viewing.
Get names - star power is needed. 2k streamers, any know streamers who would play, less active celebrities (The game, Papoose, Roddy Rich, Jonathan Majors, Orlando Brown) like those guys.
Recurring invitational - while being a pro is definitely something that shouldn't be taken lightly, there should be more ways to get in the league for average Joe's. Some kind of public event where all contestants stats are analyzed and some of them get picked to try out personally. And just repeat that a few times a year.
This sub is incredibly inactive but I hope this finds someone as someone who cares about the league and the game.
In an anonymous survey facilitated by the Late Night Speakeasy, 20 NBA 2KL players answered various questions. Here are the results for “Coach you would like to play for the most/least.”
I love the league but everyone is too good. It's so meta. It's always 5 out or pick and roll. I understand it's real basketball, but at that point I'd just watch real basketball. I think it would be cool if the players had to change positions every game. So, Bear can't be PG every game. Dimez gotta play SF sometime. Somethin like that. Like, the whole team gets a shot at every position. Make everyone uncomfortable to kinda get out of the traditional boring meta game

I want to try out for the 2k league but PlayStations are really hard to get right now. How does the December deadline work? I am trying to get a PlayStation as soon as possible. I will buy a ps4 if I have to lol
I have to get on ps5 just for draft eligibility
So I noticed that 2kleague does tournaments for both xbox and ps but how come when they are only broadcasting the ps tournaments? Last year I didnt even see any videos with players using xbox. Is it just me?
Is there any league teams who dont run 5 out pick and roll at top of key? send me links and info.

Does anybody know the exact sliders that they use for games and what the game speed is set to? Mine always looks different from when I'm watching the 2k league. So anybody know what sliders they're using, as far as shot success, acceleration, tendencies and movement etc?
Thanks
