The last patch notes were all bullshit , they fixed nothing still getting hang time during loading screens takes 50 years to just change animations and appearances man and then when it does decide to chuck you back in it ends up kicking you of the servers anyways, And I’m getting random freezes just chilling in the damn city , I load up in my go cart and it freezes bro what the f**k is wrong with this game.

So with the inclusion of a shot timing that's ltterally labed difficulty based, that doesn't apply that all the other shot timings, like ex high risk, are unaffected by difficulty now are they? The green window isnt the same rookie to hof is it?

I randomly hopped on current gen 23 and noticed this typo lol. Insane how we are used to all the money we put into 2k and our myplayers/myteam becoming completely unusable after 2 years. Billion dollar company, Fetaures.

I’ve been out of the loop with basketball video games for a while, but I’m starting to get back into it. All I really wanted to do was play the Ultimate Base Roster for NBA 2K14, which was created by Hawk23. I just found out within the last hour as of writing this that the mod is no longer available online, and I’m pretty devastated.

I’ve been a loyal supporter of Hawk23 on Patreon for about 2 and 1/3 years and was always amazed at his work. If anyone in the community still has the files for the Ultimate Base Roster and would be willing to share them, I would be incredibly grateful. I’d love to relive the experience of playing this incredible mod.

So 2k25 is my first 2k game and gah-lee are these games some ass. I have hated on EA and their sports games but 2k makes me appreciate them so much more…and that says a lot.

The mechanics feel like an early 2000’s game, just clunky. You can’t lock onto players on defense and it just feels weird. And don’t get me started on the delay, it’s insane. I can push a button and my player will do that action 3 business days later. Can make a fucking sandwich in between the time they decide to pass it after i push the button. I pass it to an open man and i already am holding down the shot button immediately after, so they put the shot up before the defender closes out on me, and this mfer barely getting the animation to pass. Feels like some IBM shit or the connection is running on dial up connection.

What are some tips for a new player? I am actually trying to get good at the game. I’ve found turning off the shot meter helps with my shot a lot. But is there ways to make the gameplay smoother? Maybe some settings to help with the clunky-ness? Or is this something you just have to get used to?

Delete your build, you made a build that is a liability on 90% of games. If you a G with 0 shooting you have no purpose on offense. Only centers have an excuse for being pure finishing because it’s reliable, you aren’t reliable with finishing on a G unless you play against bots. Immovable enforcer automatically denies you. But I’m not saying that your build sucks, have fun with it but don’t expect to be comp

i mostly play 5s on 2k and im a decent PG, the only time i lose is when im actually playing with bums. if we are winning the game, why are they crying about little stuff, and when were down by 5 they wanna start whining & quitting. mind u these are grown men. if u ever played organized basketball. turn overs are going to happen, shots will be missed, shi happens. and if both teams are good the score will be close. its aggravating asf when 1 person makes a mistake and a grown man start crying like he’s on his period. i love my ppl but u gotta get rid of this anger in ur heart. to sit hear n crash out about a video is crazy.
