I have been stewing on this ever since season 8-9 of gen four... then after I first watched the gen 5 movie it truly hammered it home. From the majority of episodes past season six, through the new generation five, MLP has truly seen a massive downshift in quality. And the saddest part for me is that many people are still trying to pretend like this content is sufficient, even though it feels like soulless YouTube poop that even kids won't enjoy. From the poor story line to the even poorer written characters, it feels like the entire show lost it's creative spark. I've watched every MLP episode from gen four to five, and within the new stuff I cannot remember a single memorable song or moment I was EXCITED to watch. In fact, I was dreading every second of it, because of how painfully boring, lifeless and uncreative it was.

I grew up watching My Little Pony since I was ten years old, and am extremely disappointed in the way the content has shifted.

Is Hasbro tired of the Brony community, so are not making content with soul anymore? When Hasbro sees the small number of people that care about watching new content and buying their toys, will they finally get the message that we won't stand for this garbage? How can the Brony community come together and make a stand for better content?

I'm worried the Brony community will never get good MLP content again.

TLDR; MLP generation 5 feels like cardboard, and it is disappointing for anyone who likes content that has meaning.

Does anyone know that one episode where we see the different timelines, like the one where sombra took over and the one where they all live in the forest, and the onw where rarity and applejack are prepareing for war, and applejacks farm is packaging food for it? I SWEAR i remember this episode as a kid, and i swear it had something to do with starlight messing with twilights cutiemap but i cant find the episode :( i know there was an episode where starlight messed with the map but it isnt the one where she stops twilight and her friends from getting thier cutiemarks. Ive been really wanting to rewatch this episode recently but i cant find it

Hi! I drew my human version of Twilight Sparkle, I decided to pick season 1 because I think in the series "I don't need friends, they disappoint me" Twilight wasn't as explored as I wanted in the franchise.

(P.S: Also, I like to think that Twilight has a mole :u)
