The Monsanto Corporation (Bayer) was the main producer of PCBs and the sole producer of Agent Orange. It changed its business plan to target food via industrial chemicals for farms and agriculture, herbicides, pesticides, genetically engineered/modified seeds and organisms (GMO) in order to implement large scale, irrigated, chemically fertilized monoculture around the world.

UNUSUAL Down Vote ACTIVITY -- As Monsanto pays for lobbyists, media PR, and military attacks on protesters, it's not surprising posts that don't applaud the corporation and its products get attacked here on reddit. The following posts show high DV even though the post is from a reliable source:
Monsanto's Round Up formula remains secret & unavailable for testing by independent scientists
Opposition to building a GMO factsheet
OrangicFarming doesnt want to know USDA won't take action to prevent further contamination by GMOs

Here is a link to a post I made where I was getting tons of downvotes. Can anyone explain to me how to encourage others to eat organic without coming across as harsh or preachy? No one will listen when I try to explain Monsanto bad, organic good. How do u guys get through to these hard-headed people?
The Cost of Putting Things Right.
I have been collaborating with my colleague Rich Collins, over the past year and a half, to create a new publication that combines original writing and photography about a significant environmental issue currently taking place in post-industrial Wales.
We have been working with Taylor Brothers Bristol Limited and are immensely proud of the result. Our goal is to get our first edition produced and shared through local stockists and festivals. To do this, a Kickstarter campaign has been created to fundraise the exact amount needed for the production and fulfillment of the pledge rewards.
Rewards include a signed and numbered copy of the final book, and a printed acknowledgment amongst other exciting options. If you are not in a position to financially back the project, it would be much appreciated if you could share our campaign with those who would find it of interest.

This is a trailer for a new documentary by a good friend of mine, Wayne Degan. Please like, share, and comment on his YouTube page.
My late great-grandfather worked for Monsanto for a few years in his twenties. He was born in 1909, so this would have been the 1930’s. I found several articles about PCB toxicity, even way back then. I know that it can affect generations.
He lived to be 95 years old and competed in the Senior Olympics. He drank and smoked but had no other known health problems.
His daughter, my grandmother (b. 1944), does not drink or smoke and never has. She had endometriosis when she was younger and arthritis now, but no other known health conditions. No miscarriages.
My late father (b. 1965) was her first child, so Monsanto’s grandson. He was exceptionally healthy physically but developed a very rare form of cancer at 50 years old and died shortly after—anaplastic astrocytoma. I also suspect he may have had Von Willebrand’s.
The next oldest child, my uncle (b. 1969), I suspect, is on the spectrum. He didn’t speak until he was about 4 years old.
Her third child was also a son (b. 1973). He is 5’2”, while his older brothers are 5’10” and 6’—no other known health conditions.
Her fourth son (b. 1978) was born without an arm. He died of alcoholism 2 years ago.
Her last child, a girl (b. 1983), was born with a form of dwarfism. I believe she is missing a bone in her wrist, so she and her daughter both have very short arms and are short in stature. It’s not especially noticeable, but it is notable. She also has endometriosis and Von Willebrand’s.
The last 3 children were born after my grandpa had a vasectomy, so we have suspected that may be why. Is this just a horrible coincidence? Desperately seeking answers. I also have endometriosis.
Hi r/Monsanto folks. I'm a reporter for Business Insider, and I'm doing some reporting on the Roundup litigation. I have a background writing about legal affairs and law firms, and I am trying to connect with people whose Roundup or Ranger Pro claims have either been settled or are still pending.
Whether the process has been fast or slow, whether you were satisfied or unsatisfied, whether you are comfortable being quoted in a story or not, I want to hear from you. I think the voices of ordinary people matter and generally aren't mentioned in these kinds of stories.
And if you're skeptical I am who I say I am, I mention this username in my official bio here. So shoot me a DM/chat or reach out to me at the email address listed on that page. Happy to answer any questions in the comments as well.
Hey, I'm late the party here, but I just wanted to take the opportunity to catch up with some old friends, e.g. adamwho and a few others:
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! All that astroturfing accomplished nothing, and you look STUPID! You wasted your life being an obnoxious troll and it didn't even accomplish the intended goal.
What a bunch of laughable tools. Hopefully you'll never read this because you've already died of humiliation.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
