Last Christmas I got my hands on an Eagle Industries H-Harness, but I think I misunderstood or misread the eBay listing or something because this H-Harness is Khaki, even though I was planning on doing a Ranger Green setup. I could just sell this one and buy a Green one, but I feel like dying could be a cheaper, easier alternative. Also, I would just like to get some experience with dying in case I ever get another situation like this.
I tried watching some videos on dying military gear (Still don't have a great understanding of the process), but all of those videos were dying UCP to that off-brand CADPAT/EMR that people usually do with UCP. In other words, not Ranger Green. This Khaki LBE is a bit lighter in color than CB and I'm not sure if I would have to use a different mix of colors from what these UCP projects show or what the few CP dyes I saw people do use. If anyone can give me a tutorial on dying Khaki Nylon to Ranger Green that would be appreciated.
Hi Guys, i own an US Cooper 30l Backpack. I love it its great but on trips where i need to carry more gear a bit of a size up would be great. The 50l version is from the form factor not really my typ of backpack i want. Since fully packed it can get very large in the dimension from body to end of backpack. Long Talk asside. I'm looking for Side extensions for my 30l US Cooper backpack. The larger the better. Do you guys have seen something like this?
Bought myself a really cool Bulgarian steel helmet but I didn’t check the size and it’s just a wee bit too tight, anyone have any modification suggestions I can make????
I'm planning on joining the military in a few years and I want to use my time in university to prepare for it. Does anyone know some reliable sites/stores/places where it is possible to buy a good pair of rucking boots and a rucksack?
Looking for warm, comfortable, and durable insulated jacket that comes in multicam. Ideally something similar to the ones snugpak makes, but that don’t break the bank quite as much.
All suggestions appreciated.

I took these specifically for ID from Watershed CS, now that I'm posting here I feel like I should be posting way more..
So I've had this dry bag for a while, purchased it on a website dedicated to these sorts of things. Dude said he was a retired seal and used this a bit but had other bags he used more because this one was just so big. I've used it up in the mountains in snow and out island hopping in the ocean. It is amazingly durable and still has no issues whatsoever.
Not sure on the exact capacity.. its a circle bottom duffel, roughly 24" in diameter. Laid flat like the photo shows, it's 24"x32". Those dimensions give you just under 14,500in3 capacity.. it's probably closer to 10-12K considering it's not a perfect cylinder shape, as one pinches together and rolls until it can be snapped down with the nexus clips.. anyways Watershed no longer sells anything close to that big. I contacted them today looking for information on this bag as there is no identifying features on it at all other than embroidered branding and the seal care tag with the company's name and number. I was told it was roughly 28 years old, Watershed was founded in 1995, and that the person could offer no other information on the bag due to their HQ being in Ashville, NC and their buildings being under 4' of water from hurricane Helene.
Other than posting so everyone can see the cool find, I would be interested in attaining military care and user manuals that would've been distributed with this gear when issued, if anyone were to posses them or know where to locate them.
These bags are known for their amazing ability to remain sealed from water pen, the U.S. Navy has apparently tested Watershed drybags to 100M submersion without any leakage. (nrs.com)
I'm looking for some new pairs of cargo pants and I'm wondering what cargos I'm you guys daily and what you like about them
So this looks like most of the usual chinese military bags out there, but the name on it has me wondering... This is on a local surplus store website, they sell liquidation items. Figured maybe they got stock in from some military surplus store or something? As far as I know no militaries use a bag with this look.
