Comet / Meteor? Please help identify

Sat watching Billy Connollys travel documantary 'Journey to the end of the world'. I got to 34.48 mins in to the first episode and Billy is taking off in a small plane to get to the north of Newfoundland. Just as the plane leaves the runway there is a brief shot out of the window and I spied this (2 pics and a video)...

As I was driving home from work a couple of hours ago, I saw two streaks of light/fire fall from the sky. I've looked online and can't seem to find an explanation for what they could be. They aren't meteors, because the next shower isn't until next month. Got any insight?

Did anyone else in southern UK, see a huge flash that made the sky light up bright Orangey/red/white followed by 2 loud bangs? If so, is it likely a large meteor from the Perseid Meteor Season?

I have reported my sighting to the UK meteorological society. With times & details of what I have seen. Although my family did not see the flash (blackout blinds) they were awoken by the loud bangs. I have my windows & blinds open which is why I saw the burst of light.

Could this be a possible meteor? https://youtu.be/izSJgVRxIRc

Saw this today, 20the may 2016 from my terrace at about 8.37 pm IST Never seen a meteor before with my own eyes. So I thought I'll confirm. Also, sorry for the shakey video. I was bit confused, watching it with my own eyes and recording it on the phone. Haha.
