We are thinking of buying a GLE350 because of its luxurious interior and smooth suspension/ride quality.

However, it is often said that Mercedes has one of the lowest reliability ratings of any car manufacturer.

I want to gather more information from existing GLE owners—what sort of issues and problems have you faced, and what has been your experience so far? Would you recommend buying this car, or would you suggest going for an X5 instead?

Found a nice 2011 C300 with 98k miles. Has a salvage title (damaged drivers door). Price 5,9k. I’m wondering if it’s worth having a car like this at 18. From what I’ve already read it seems pretty reliable. I just don’t know enough about it and I don’t want to deal with constant problems and repairs if that’s the case.

I'm about to go on a trip up to the mountain(5 hours). I've got a hitch installed in my subframe and pulling a a 6x8 aluminum trailer~200lbs, a motorcycle ~450lbs, plus myself and luggage. I'm well under the tow rating for this vehicle but I'm being overly cautious as this is my first time towing with it. All my preventative maintenence has been done. My question is is this car capable of reliably towing this amount of weight and/or should there be anything I should be concerned with? I'm more worried about the transmission and differentials than anything. I hope I'm just thinking too much and this thing is a tank with the amount of weight I'm pulling but can't be too cautious. Any advice would greatly appreciated!

Went to look at a CLE 300 just to see. It has the Tonka leather ( $ 1600 ) , Driver assistance package ( $ 1950 ) , night package ( $200 ) , AMG line package ( $3000 ) , pinnacle trim ( $3000 ), Reear airbags ( $700 ) , heated / cooled seats ( $450 ) , AMG wheels ( $1150 ) , wheel lock bolts ( $160 ) , chrome door inserts ( $100 ), all season mats ( $175).

The MSRP was $69,780, and I talked the dealer down to $64,500.

I was wondering if this is worth it at this price ? I still hate it's a 4 cylinder engine for 60k, but it drove nimble. I was contemplating getting a BMW because you can get more performance for the cheaper, but I really was impressed by this car. I've never owned a Mercedes before.

Since one month ago I have bought a Mercedes Benz CLA from 2022.

This comes with the Mbux mediasystem. I play my music from a USB stick wich works. Only it plays all the tracks combined from all the folders.

Is it possible to only play the tracks from 1 specific folder?

For example I have 1 folder wich is called "Music A" with 20 tracks and 1 folder called "Music B" with 5 tracks.

Is it possible to only play the 5 tracks in the folder "Music B" without any of the 20 tracks of the folder "Music A" popping up?

I used a Delphi DS150e software on a laptop, and i cleared the codes of my W203 200CDI 2005. I cleared codes from all the systems, and the laptop powered off while clearing the last ones. Now, the car is acting all weird. Gears are very quickly changed, which is good, but the car doesn't go past 3000rpm (it used to go past 3000rpm when moving and in place), and doesn't go more than 100kph. I also get a loud clicking noise from the dashboard driver side in the middle, when starting the car or shutting it off for about 30 seconds.

I have 2023 E350 4Matic and absolutely adore it. By far the best car I've ever had. It's a lease, but honestly I love it so much I am seriously considering buying it at the end of the lease.

I've been trying to do a lot of research on overall reliability on the W213's with the M264 (I believe this is the correct engine? Mine is ICE only; no mild hybridization), but don't find a whole lot other than a lot of engine failures with older I-4 turbos MB built on a lot of their vehicles (failed pistons). I am not entirely sure if my vehicle is made with that same engine.

Can anyone say / have experience knowing this vehicle last an 100,000+ miles with regular routine maintenance? I drive just at about 15,000 miles per year but take immaculate care of my vehicles with all recommended maintenance. I do live in the midwest where we get some extreme climates on both ends of the spectrum, and we also have some pretty nasty roads.

Hey, I’m considering buying a new GLE 450. This will be my first German car and the reputation is that the reliability is awful. I just want an honest opinion on the reliability of the vehicle, I typically drive around 1-2k miles a month and it’s about 60% city and 40% interstate.

I’m willing to commit to regular maintenance but I don’t have the tools to do much DIY stuff beyond basic wiper/battery replacement.

What’s your experience with newer MB cars and your average annual maintenance costs?

I’m stuck between that car and a Lexus GX 550 for $500 more and it’s a tough decision between going for luxury or ruggedness.
