I want to buy my husband some boots for Xmas. He’s never owned boots before because he usually wears sneakers. I want something stylish but also practical. I was thinking timberlands but I don’t know if there are better options. Any suggestions?
Planning to wear white dress shirt black tie for a wedding I’m best manning :) Problem is this blazer has these vertical lines and I can’t find any dress pants with similar vertical lines. Should I just wear black dress pants? You can’t notice the vertical lines on the black blazer at 7 feet away, only if you’re up close. Please let me know if anyone can find any dress pants that have those vertical lines or goes well with it, links appreciated🙏
Hi everyone! My husband recently bought a long sleeve shirt from the brand Theory (it’s called Delroy Tee in black Studio T Jacq) and we’re trying to decide between keeping the size Large or exchanging it for an Extra Large. The Large fits him perfectly right now, but we’re a little worried it might shrink after washing.
The shirt’s material is 79% cotton, 19% polyester, and 2% spandex. I know some clothes can shrink a bit even if washed in cold water, so we’re curious if anyone here has experience with men’s clothing from Theory—especially shirts made with this fabric blend.
Did you notice any shrinking after washing or drying? Should we stick with the Large or size up to the Extra Large to be safe? Any advice would be super helpful!
Thanks in advance!
I’m getting a new suit and when I went to suit supply, every suit had pick stitching and I just think it looks ugly and machined. Do I just have bad taste? Are there alternatives, can I get a nice suit without pick stitching?
I want to spend about $1000.
ever touched, never-ending worn. You've got to see this
So I’ve ordered a tuxedo (Hawes and Curtis if the brand matters) and it’s just arrived today I’ve tried it on and although it’s a slim fit tux the trousers are far too tight I can’t even get the buttons to meet nor the hook and eye fasteners. I instantly took them off and checked over the measurements, I can’t understand as to why I simply don’t fit them I have 32 waists on all of my trousers and they usually fit quite loose as I need to wear a belt on everything most days i have other suit trousers the same waistband size and have no problem fitting into them can anyone explain to me as I have this function to attend and I need this to fit.
No picture...but I saw an older man wearing a trench coat...light beige...nice stiff collar. On his right sleeve was a red + and 0 ...kind of raised, almost looking like a plastic add on.
I know it's a shot in the dark...But it looks great.

I like the look and feel of Marc Darcy suits, but I don't actually know anything about what to look for in good quality menswear - materials, durability etc.
Their suits sell at about €300-500. For anyone not familiar with the brand itself but has more.base knowledge than me, what should I expect at that range? For those who do know the brand, are they decent for that price range, or is there another brand in the same range you'd recommend instead? I couldn't really afford to go much higher, so I'm a bit limited in my options.
anyone ever bought anything from Quaker Marine Supply? curious about their chambray shirts.
Something like revival vintage , but without all the polyester.
Thanks!
