  • Notes: Black ano/case overall is without flaws. Weight has a few scratches as shown on the back (check for microscopic screws before absentmindedly setting your board down). This was my main driver throughout my time with more conventional boards and I absolutely loved it. There are some faint grease stains on the frosted PC plate because, well, lube tends to stand out on those surfaces and I certainly smudged it. In my eyes, neither of these flaws detract from my daily enjoyment and feel of the board, but I understand the value lost in a scratched mirror-finish weight, hence the reduced price.

  • Notes: It's a tofu. Rock on. Speaking of rocks, this certainly feels like one. Can't get more stiff than an alu plate on a tray mount 60. Is that a bad thing? Not for much younger me, building a board for the first time. I was in love with how solid it felt and powered through most of my undergrad engineering degree with blanks on it because why not. It certainly is a simple, clean, clacky, indestructible, and utilitarian board and I found an incredible amount of appeal in that. Also, the black ano developed super weird burn marks from the down-facing PCB LED's. I'm into it but it certainly is a "blemish".

Prototype Boardwalk Mini:

So a while back, MKUltra was looking to collab with RGBKB to produce a choc Boardwalk. He sent me an early proto to play around with the form factor. The keyboard never went into production, and I don't know if there are any others floating around. I've been meaning to get this up and running but I have too much going on to take this on as a project.

I have the PCB files so I know how the matrix is connected but have no QMK repo. It was pre-flashed with a test firmware to confirm that each switch is working but firmware needs to be built for it. This is definitely a project for someone to take on!

The keyboard has a CNC polycarb case with a 2mm thick brass bottom plate. It has 2x USB-C connectors and per-switch LED lighting. It's been built with Speed Silver switches and comes with a FULL set of white keycaps, black keycaps, and all of the accent colour keycaps as shown in the pictures.

I don't know what the cost of something like this would be. I want someone to actually make use of this rather than it just sitting in a box on my shelf. I know OBO isn't allowed here, but throw me an offer if you're interested in taking this on!
