The new WPPL (old WSL) in England got a 20M pound loan as a parting gesture from the FA in July . They have recently got Barclays onside for sponsorship worth 45M over 3 years:

As well as a Sky/BBC TV rights agreement for 65M over 5 years:
-The players retain the rights to their own highlights package that they can use on their own social media.
Hopefully that's means a stronger players association
Steph has been voted by her peers as the #Austraffic PFA Women's Footballer of the Year for the second time after sublime performances for club and country! 🫶🏻

Hi Everyone!
Did anyone happen to actually receive their email with the link to purchase pre sale tickets for the Brisbane Brazil match?
Absolute crickets for us. Can’t even find a contact form or email through ticketek… in fact the game doesn’t even exist on the Ticketek website (yet)!
Thanks in advance 😊
Hi everyone, I’m wanting to purchase tickets for either the Brisbane or Goldcoast games that have just been announced for November, I’ve never been to a football/sports match and am wondering where the best place round purchase my seat would be or if that is even an option? And how do I know which side the tillies will be defending or attacking so I can get a seat behind the goals? Or should I try do the side areas so I can be closer to their bench? Any recommendations would be great thanks!
As title. FFA said links should go out via EDM at 8am AEST but nothing landed. Anyone got the links for the Geelong/Melbourne games???
Prior to her unfortunate concussion, I had always viewed Teagan Micah as the number one keeper for the Tillies and admittedly was quite worried about our goalkeeper situation leading into the major tournaments for 2023 - since Lydia was no longer in her prime and Macca had always been third choice keeper up until that point.
Fast forward to 2023 we all know how Macca stepped up for us big time during Cup of Nations and the WWC, but after watching the Tillies at the most recent Olympics I have to say I wasn’t all that impressed with her form throughout this campaign. Of course she isn’t to blame for the team’s poor run but I feel like she did make a few avoidable keeper errors that contributed to us conceding a number of goals this tournament.
Based off comments I’ve read on socials, there are some who think Macca perhaps wasn’t the best choice for this tournament so I’m keen to hear who you guys think should be our first choice keeper moving forward. I haven’t closely followed Teagan’s performances after her move to Liverpool last season so maybe someone who has can weigh in here?
😊
Of course we know it is a tough competition with little turn over and injuries to handle, but I’ve heard Charli Grant saying it was the hardest camp yet, and of course there are rumours… do you think anything went on behind the scenes? I know people speculated the girls didn’t seem happy.
I went to the Aus VS Zambia game and managed to grab a signature on the sleeve of my jersey. But seeing as I was wearing the shirt on the day, it stinks and is need of a wash. How have you guys washed your signed jerseys?
Do you we have much football to look forward in the next few months or any tournaments?
Now that the Tillies are out of the competition, who do we watch and cheer for?
If Colombia had beaten Canada we would’ve got in. So the logic says I hope Colombia wins the Olympic women’s soccer tournament.
What do you guys think?
