I've started a project writing essays about Pop Punk & Emo albums from the 00s that I consider to be important. I want to go more into the background of these albums, what makes them special and what they say about the time they were made- and the people who made them.

Two of the first I've written about are +44's When Your Heart Stops Beating and Box Car Racer's self titled. I know there's a lot of love for these bands here so thought I'd post.

Mark apologized for my trauma around my father’s suicide. It was a huge boost and keeps me going sometimes to be acknowledged by one of my heroes. He’s always willing to respond to fans

So fucking random, but I remember Mark doing a sort of collab with this blonde kid with a really surf like fringe and I can’t remember the name of the band. I know it’s very broad but if anyone can remember a band with a blonde kid, I’m sure it had 3 words. Thanks

Anyone see Mark’s Instagram story this morning where he said “yes hello, one chemo treatment please” while in the doctors office with an IV ?? 😔

My good buddy and I both saw Mark’s latest Instagram post and have differing opinions on how he presents himself. What do you think?
