Does anyone know of any restaurants in Marietta that are accommodating towards (particularly shellfish) allergies? It seems like most downtown restaurants serve shellfish, which isn’t a dealbreaker so long as they are open to preventing cross-contamination!
I’m looking for a quiet place to get paperwork done on the weekends. I’ve gone to the library in Kennesaw, and it’s worked out fine but I need a place that’s open a little later than 5 PM.
I need some work done flooring drywall, paint, bathroom installation etc need a decent price and someone who actually shows up communicates and is polite. A decent price would help too.
Hi everyone, looking for suggestions to hire a lawyer to help me correct the spelling of my toddler name.
I’m looking to find the literal cheapest place to get decent meat. I’m talking your local butcher, whatever off brand grocery you go to regularly! I’m a college student, but I refuse to do the ramen noodle diet. especially because I’m perfectly capable of creating good meals on a frugal budget.
Does anyone have any intel on Atlanta Country Club junior membership initiation and dues? Relocating to area and considering clubs in the area.
Note: We are now opening to Georgia! Louisiana has also joined us. We want to make a bigger connection in the south! Read our statement below for our origin and broader aim! This applies to the WHOLE South, including Georgia as of today!
Hello! I want to invite everyone to a grassroots, Mississippian led, discord server where we are all trying to foster community. These are rough and bleak times and we aim to form a connection and spread that Southern hospitality like we were raised to do!
We accept everyone regardless of political affiliation. (Unless you are a fascist/nazi.)
We want to work to educate and empower Mississippians within their own communities and learn how to use their environments to their advantage while also providing our services to the community.
We are a POC, queer, disabled led movement. By the people, for the people. Hope to have y’all join us, hun!

Hello! I'm looking for a local teacher around the marietta square that can help me improve my skills in dexterity, sight reading etc. I am 31 and self taught by ear but would really would like and need to have more structure to learn how to play classical pieces and improve my movement. I'm kind of looking for strictness because I tend to be more free-flowing which is a negative when trying to learn to play in another style.
I need to get my two youngest kids (18+) passports. It would be their first one.
I went to the post office to do it, and I know do the office in ATL. Is there somewhere else that I should consider going to?
Looks like the company who owns it is giving up... I was very hopeful the county would step in but if the courts are involved, this mall property will be in default for a long long time. Maybe new developers will build something cool?
I'm kinda bored. There any social events going on next weekend? When I try searching google or meet up it's just alot of bars and excuses for people to drink.
Switching my daughters custody and support order to GA and wanted to find someone local if possible to the ATL/Marietta area. Recommendations are appreciated!
Hello Everyone!
My wife and I are both 29. Married with no kids and relocating from Gwinnett due to my wife’s job. She has to go into the office more times a week now and her office is in Douglasville.
We want to purchase our first home. Would love to find an area that is got some more vibrant younger family’s and communities + decently close to downtown. Thinking within 10-15 minute drive. We don’t know too many people our age in the area so hoping we can find a nice community.
We have a budget of around 400-500k. Have seen a good bit pop up around fair oaks and the Kennesaw mountain battlefield area.
Would love to hear any recommendations!
Moving to Marietta from Dallas Texas. I’d like to live in a majority hispanic/latino area as we did in Dallas. Trying to find a decent area and heard the schools are a bit rough so Is there any good areas?.
Just bought an 07 Ford Ranger and I was wondering if anyone has found an honest and reliable mechanic in the area. I don’t mind paying for good work, just want someone I can trust. Thanks for any help!

The guy is an absolute nut case.
If you have any interaction with him act like a slave reporting to his master. He's the type to continually escalate situations intentionally because he gets off on "showing you who's boss".
Just a PSA. He's the only cobb officer I've personally seen act like that kind of "respect my authoriti" kind of cop. So worth putting out there for any younger drivers out there.
I am looking to develop a hobby that requires physical work. If someone is working on things like forging, carpentry, some mechanical stuff etc and looking for a partner let me know. I just want to try my hands on different things and learn new stuff
I stay off Powers ferry Rd so nearby is preferable

Looking for recommendations for companies/stylists who offer wedding hair and makeup. I’ve enjoyed using Vigilante on the past, but would like recommendations of something a little cheaper. Their prices are $125-$150.

I know this one’s out there so please forgive me. I’m looking to see if anyone has experience with merchant code designations for Cobb EMC and other municipal utilities to figure out if a credit card company would consider them utilities or government agencies. I know this is a weird question but if you have any experience I’d love to hear!
Does anyone know a salon in Marietta that I could go get my curly hair cut and that takes walk-ins? I have 3c-4a hair
