A place for all those interested or already involved members of the magazine fed paintball community. Great for discussing opinions, events/products or anything related to magazine fed play in general.
Welcome to the r/Magfed, a place for all discussion based around the magazine fed paintball industry.
Ten round tubes and Tac-Caps are not magazines.
Boxmags and the players that use them are welcome. Do not disparage these players as they are a part of the magfed community
We will allow for discussion of limited paint games as it relates to Magfed, however discussion outside of events needs to be kept strictly magfed
This is not a place to bash or hate on speedball or airsoft. This is also not a place for "meme wars". Please stay on topic.
Before making a new post, please do a search of the subreddit to make sure that any issue or concern you have hasn't already been addressed or a thread made about it. It helps to keep the subreddit from getting gummed up by numerous threads about the same topic over and over.
We are all players of the same sport, some new, some not. Treat your fellow players with respect, be helpful, and in general do not be a dick to people or gatekeep information or help.
Thanks!

I have a full cart of tipx parts on MCS ready to go, but I'm curious if I risk it being seized by customs/cbsa as it comes into Canada. I am sure MCS labels the items correctly as paintball related which are allowed as long as they meet fps requirements, but seems like cbsa can seize if the items resemble real life firearms or parts. Does anybody in Canada have any advice, or suspect I will have any issues importing parts like a foregrip, body, air through stock, etc? Certainly don't want to break any laws but some help navigating the nuance of this process is appreciated. Note I am near land border so I could cross and import myself if needed.
I call this the S-301! Absolutely love it, is a shroud and magwell kit for the Stormer (hence the S in the name) and it can take zetamags and magforce mags.
What do yβall think?π

I was gifted the TPM1 from a buddy. It worked for a game or two but stopped firing when I tried it a month later or so.
Best guess is that the hammer somehow broke. I took a look inside and found a bent metal ring (Looks like a washer) and a slightly damaged spring (All this where the hammer is supposed to sit I'm guessing.)
I was wondering if any of you TPM1 owners could take a picture of the hammer and post it here so I can see what it's supposed to look like. Any other help like where to find a spare or such would also be really appreciated! Thank you!
Does anyone know any good mods such as barrels springs and mags for the titled marker any help is greatly appreciated thank you
Hi there,
I have a T15 Scout and i seem to be having trouble with the bolt action not cycling properly. I pull the bolt and i need to pull it with some decent amount of strenght. I have not done a test to see what lbs it takes to pull the bolt. However, I noticed during game play and in the moment of being shot at, I go to cycle and if i mess up and dont pull har denough i end up not properly setting the first trike in the chamber and also chargin the air for the trigger pull. I then need to recycle the bolt back harder to charge the air and then I end up cycling another first strike round into the barrel. any tips or suggestions (Other than get a different gun?)
im looking to start buying my paint since my field allowed it nut I'm not sure what the best grade ball to buy is i have some extra empire premium paint and that broke in my mag just got my emf today im coming for a speedball background so any help would be much appreciated
Is there any companies that make a barrel for the TMC that can be used with freak kits that ship to the U.S?
I've found a quite nice offer, probably the store selling out for good. An Umarex HDR68 for 50β¬. I'm aware of the modding potential and things that can be done with it and this is one reason I'm kinda itching to jump the gun (huehue) on this.
I'm also aware from another thread that the 7.5J version is very underpowered and causes breaks all to often on roundballs due to that. Breaks however are not much of a concern for me, I would be either using FS paints or poly/rubber/steel balls. I don't intend to use this marker in any games, just purely for dicking around for fun on old tin cans.
As for the Joules version, I can only get the 7.5J version as that is the only one sold where I live. I'm keenly aware of the law sorrounding that topic and of course I adhere to it, as do I with my pellet airgun.
I know that some mods incorporate adding a HP bottle via mamba connection and that's one of the first things I would do with the HDR68. However, what's the maximum pressure the system can withstand without risk? To ensure the regulator is adjusted just right and doesn't blow the whole thing apart. I wouldn't mind having a 0.2L bottle tucked in a buttstock because I just like HP systems more than CO2 cartridges. Easier if I just want to do some quick casual plinking without having to waste an entire cartridge that lasts for 4 drum mags on a single drum mag or such.
Other HDR68 owners, how do you value this thing for casual fun? The price alone seems like a steal but if the marker itself is ultimately useless because of complete dipshit performance even with barrel mods, HP bottle and whatnot,, it'd still be 50β¬ wasted. I'm not expecting competition level of accuracy in the first place, at .68 and 7.5J that'd be a rather lofty expectation. But mods can probably improve that to some extent and using FS rounds instead of roundballs of course does too.
I've noticed a few recent games allowing drone recon... Zero hour was the most noticeable one... But now that they have one that's less than a new go pro I'm going to tech my son how to fly and take some videos and maybe radio up for recon since he's only 9.
So Im getting. Emf 100 from mcs and I'm getting 5 extra mags should I be all set
A guy from my local field letm me shoot his t15 with fsr and they went really far , now I'm wondering how it compares to a bb?

Iβve recently bought a maxtact TGR mk2 and Iβm not sure why but it feels slightly under powered, is there a way to adjust the strength or is it like that?
Thanks
Please , does any one know what to do?
It looks like there is glue in it , I ordered it from Germany to greece and I have a scenario this Sunday, please does any one know how to adjust it or what is inside ?
My second favorite marker
For some reason, my T15 is having issues with pressure. When shooting first strike, it feeds fine and the bolt functions like it should but the projectile just runs straight through the barrel with no velocity. It goes maybe 10-15 yards and drops
Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it?
Alright everybody listen up!
One of the suggestions I got was that we have more gear pics on the sub, and because I am all about giving the people what they want, here's where we're gonna do it.
So here's the rub, post your markers, gear, setups, etc here. Make sure you include both pictures and descriptions of what you have and run on the regular and let people know what you're hitting the field with this year.
For those who are going to comment, be respectful, be cool, don't start shit with people because you don't agree with their opinions or choice of gear. Not going to say it again, I'll start handing out warnings and bans like Halloween candy if you are assholes to each other.
For those posting, if someone does comment and says something that you don't like, either ignore them and move on or engage them in respectful conversation and ask them why. Trolls don't like being told to explain why they don't like something because 95% of the time it makes them look like a dummy to the rest of the world.
TL;DR - Post your markers and gear, describe what you got, and don't be an asshole in the comments.
