A place for all those interested or already involved members of the magazine fed paintball community. Great for discussing opinions, events/products or anything related to magazine fed play in general.
Welcome to the r/Magfed, a place for all discussion based around the magazine fed paintball industry.
Ten round tubes and Tac-Caps are not magazines.
Boxmags and the players that use them are welcome. Do not disparage these players as they are a part of the magfed community
We will allow for discussion of limited paint games as it relates to Magfed, however discussion outside of events needs to be kept strictly magfed
This is not a place to bash or hate on speedball or airsoft. This is also not a place for "meme wars". Please stay on topic.
Before making a new post, please do a search of the subreddit to make sure that any issue or concern you have hasn't already been addressed or a thread made about it. It helps to keep the subreddit from getting gummed up by numerous threads about the same topic over and over.
We are all players of the same sport, some new, some not. Treat your fellow players with respect, be helpful, and in general do not be a dick to people or gatekeep information or help.
Thanks!

Just wanted to share with everyone my stormer elite,
It’s a solid marker for the price, got this one for 125$, and I’ve spend about 100$ in some not entirely necessary “upgrades” including a Null CF barrel, the MCS air through stock, and a shaped projectile bolt, why a first strike bolt you ask? Well, this baby of mine is modded to take FSR, it uses T-15 V2 mags, and I can still use the TMC mags which is awesome!!
Cheapest, and easiest FSR mod I’ve ever done, now I only need my own V2 mags, since a friend let me borrow 2 for modding, testing and a few games, haven’t had a round flip on me yet, and I’ve put around 600 FSR through it by now, and I’m loving this baby!
Not sure why so much hate for these, yeah it’s a pretty basic marker, but with some love (and NOT much money) you can get an awesome working marker, is not as air efficient as other markers side-eye to emf100 but I can get around 115-120 shots out of a 13/300 tank, but overall, I have it shooting FSR already for less than half the price of an EMF100 or a T-15
Don’t mean to double post but all of this stuff is very exciting! New frequently requested product. Hurricane magwells The ultimate magwell upgrades for function and style.
Style A- Uses T15 mags and is more of an AK style, ambidextrous paddle release. Uses our release system proven to be reliable and fun with a rock in motion.
Style B- Also uses T15 mags and has a push button release but still utilizes the sturdy reliable system and allows for an easier smooth push vs a button that you can only push inward because there is a pivot point.
A and B will come with 10 of our extended followers that allow you to shoot all rounds.
Style C- Uses our signature K Mags, reliable sturdy and fun. Tactile insertions and slick SMG looks. All available at TVPB.shop
We have many new items on our store for the bolt/blizzard, hurricane and the hammer 7. Check out our items in the “New” category and take advantage of our Sale!!!!! TVPB.shop
Anyone going? It's a long drive for me so I'd rather not go unless there are some people there.
Hello everyone, i am new here and i don't want to break any rules but i am selling a planet eclipse emf100 and an empire defender. Before i post it in this community i want to know if i am allowed to sell stuff here. so can anyone please let me know if i can make an advertisement here.
Going out with some friends and 2 of my kids for my birthday. Daughter’s first magfed set up is in the background. She’ll be rocking a TMC while I run my EMF. Son decided he’s going with the Etha3 this go around.
Please leave a little love for my small, still growing YouTube channel and have fun with the FSC gamplay video. a like and subscribe would be great. Thanks Guys!
I need help understanding how to adjust the trigger and minimize or eliminate chopping/breaking balls inside the chamber. I am also using a MCS box mag and don’t know what setting to set it at for feeding speed and sensor timing. I want to make my m17 a LMG or find the sweet spot to use both semi and full auto.
When you order the magforce magazine they give you the STL file to print them out home too, any insight on those? Anybody that has tried them?
I’m making a little wishlist of things i want for my kit and I’m trying to get a mag holder for around 60$ recommendations and input is welcome. Another thing is plate carriers are noticeably more pricy than chest rigs
As in when you purposefully go to reload. Only one of my 9 magazines do, and im trying to figure out where I need to sand down in order for all of them to fall out.
If anyone has experienced mags staying in the magwell when hitting the lever and managed to fix that I would appreciate some pointers!
So I saw this R301 build on Facebook a couple hours ago, and I absolutely need it, problem is that I have 0 experience with 3D models, no idea how to make this, and I dont have a 3D printer, any suggestions?
As far as I can see it consists of a custom Zetamag adapter (slightly angled backwards, like the R301) and the custom shroud
How hard would it really be to make this?
Valken Ripsaw launched a 12pm @ the NXL!
As soon as we have more info on the other versions, the pre-order is live on our site and we can upgrade you to the other versions.
More to come soon!

I've been sighting mine for 100' and it seems like many of my engagements against other FSR players are just beyond that range at about 120'-150'.
I have my hold overs sorted out pretty well but It would be nice to have a slightly lower hold over on those longer shots. I am apprehensive to sight in any further away than 100' in order to make close range engagements easier.
What distance do you guys find the most useful?
Posted a bit of this project here before when it was still a WIP. Finally got around to actually finishing up the adjustable rear sight, Fixing all the slop in the top cover, and making a three prong flash hider for one of my apex barrels. A couple cans of spray paint and a decent amount of sand paper later and this version is looking much better then before. Also printed out of something that's not going to melt in the sun this time.
This print MIGHT work on a T15. TBH I sold my T15 a couple years ago to a friend so I can't test it that anytime soon. For this M5 build ... this magwell is just non existant. It was a test piece from Ray at MagfedMaker so try contacting him for one if you have any old M5's and you want to use T15 mags on it. (I can understand why he didn't sell it since you pretty much have to dremel the shit out of a part of the marker but the mod works REALLY well when done and feeds directly into the chamber.) I might post the STL or Gcode at some point or hand it off to someone else to test out or something.
I bought 5 fs compatible DMAGs and all of them destroy fs round fins when inserting, I've never had this problem when I used the round ball DMAGs but they were used. Is there an easy way to break them in without going through bags of fs rounds?
