Rumor came out last night that Knicks interested in trading for Marcus Smart. Who do you think we may be able to get for him?
Just saw Vince he looked healthy and was jogging fine. Hopefully he won't be out long.
Obviously Wemby sticks out like a sore thumb, but not surprised to see Bane on here that step back deep 3 he loves to shoot is automatic
Back with another hype video for y’all - enjoy
Celtics fan here - in his hot wings episode, at the end, the host asks JB who he thinks will take the biggest step forward.
Is it really as good as some of the analytics say? Like some of the analytics put him as like a consistent all defensive team guy. I don't know how much I trust some of the analytical models.. so figured I'd ask here.
If it is as good as they say Grizzlies defense will be disgusting. Smart, JJJ, Edey, Konchar, omg..
They usually give a few options, I picked the one which I thought made the most sense (I'll order it from youngest to oldest)
GG Jackson - Tyler The Creator: Both have a distinct sense of individuality and creativity in their appearances.
I kinda see it?
Jaylen Wells - Travis Scott: Their hairstyles and fashion choices often draw comparisons.
They did Mr. Wells dirty :(
Zach Edey - Jason Momoa: Both share a strong jawline and a commanding presence.
This just reminded me of Adams again and I miss him more now.
Jake Laravia - Shawn Mendes: Both have a clean-cut look and similar facial structures
Another decent one, going a lot better than I expected so far*.*
Santi Aldama - Jared Leto: With a similar artistic vibe and occasionally comparable hairstyles, there are visual similarities.
The less the said the better about this one.
Vince Williams Jr. - Michael B. Jordan: Both share a strong jawline and athletic build.
Okay?
Maozinha Pereira - Camila Cabello: Their features and playful styles can sometimes remind fans of each other.
So now we've got Pereira as Cabello and Jake as Shawn Mendes, you saw it here first
Cam Spencer - Devin Booker: Both have a strong athletic build and comparable facial structures
I know Booker is hated on here but he's one of my favourites so I like this one.
Jaren Jackson Jr. - Kendrick Lamar: T**hey share similar facial structures and expressive features.
The other options were Chris Brown and Draymond Green, fuck that.
Ja Morant - Keke Palmer: Both have a charismatic presence and similar facial structures.
I do like Keke Palmer and you know what, I somewhat see it.
Jay Huff - Lucas Hedges: Their facial structures and expressions often remind fans of each other.
Good actor, does NOT look like Jay Huff
Desmond Bane - Jesse Williams: They share similar facial features and strong jawlines.
I do not know who that is.
Brandon Clarke - Jamal Murray: Their strong athletic builds and features can create a resemblance.
Not really much here besides the Canadian connection but sure.
Luke Kennard - Emma Watson: They share a similar facial structure and expressive eyes.
Holy shit, Emma Watson AND Sophie Turner were options??????
John Konchar - Josh Hutcherson: Their facial structures and expressions often remind fans of each other.
I feel like I should know who this guy is, but I don't.
Marcus Smart - Nia Long: Both have expressive eyes and can convey a similar vibe.
Yeah I think they/it might've just gave up.
BONUS (I'm not over him leaving yet) Ziaire Williams - Zendaya: They share a similar vibe and expressive features.
I love Challengers and I miss Ziaire, that's all I have to say here
Conclusion: This took me much longer than it should've, my favourite ones were the Ja and Jake ones, the worst was probably the Aldama one still struggling to understand it. Anyways thanks for reading if you did let me know what you think.
From a depth stand point, and a talent stand point, this is easily the best team we have ever had
Ja Morant Marcus Smart Desmond Bane Jaren Jackson Jr Zach Edey
Vince Williams Luke Kennard GG Jackson Santi Aldama Brandon Clarke
Scottie Pippen Jr Cam Spencer Jaylen Wells Jake LaRavia Jay Huff
is this not the best team we’ve ever had?
You can say what you want about the Steven Adams situation. I don’t even blame the training staff for that. He chose to go back home and get treated by whoever he was getting treated by and it turned out that he wasn’t gonna be ready. That’s on him. Not the staff!
Last year, a lot of those injuries were happenstance. It’s sports. People get injured. It’s the player’s responsibility to protect himself and/or take EXTRA rehabilitation time OFF THE COURT, AWAY FROM THE FACILITY.
GG and Vince didn’t get hurt in team workouts. They were injured doing their own thing. That’s on them. Not the staff!
All that said, we know nothing about the training staff and def don’t know enough to formulate opinions about what goes on in there. Be stoic fans and learn how to worry about the things you can control. Injuries aren’t one of them.
I'm a Purdue fan who's been following the Grizzlies since they took a chance on our guy and we're looking at going to the Memphis @ Indy preseason game on Oct 14.
I know he's being projected to start, so do you think he'll get any playing time in those preseason games? Should we wait to buy tickets until they play the first few and we see what the lineup looks like?
Does anyone know where I can download a full season schedule to sync with iCal? I’d accept Google Calendars if necessary, but I can’t find one anywhere outside of entering each date myself, but both the Pacers and TWolves have this option so I’m hoping someone can help me. Thanks in advance!
