/r/Lighter
It looks pretty interesting but the one star review makes hte lighter look suspicious. Then again I saw a video of it on elighters and it looks easy to refill.
What kind of butane can should I get, I've heard I need a specific one but I'm not sure where to get one or which kind exactly
Hey, everyone. I just bought this sexy vintage Kreisler Colibri lighter today and I'm struggling.
I first (embarrassingly) can't figure out what kind of butane tank (refill) I need to fill it. It's got this old fashioned, spring-loaded ball valve for filling. Any thoughts on where I can find one?
ALSO, I think the tip that squirts out butane might have gotten pinched. There is no hole in the end of it. I think it came from getting heated and smashed every time the lighter was ignited and the hammer fell. Do I need to cut off the very end of it? Try to open the hole a little bit with a needle? Let me know if you guys have any thoughts!
Thanks in advance guys!
Does anyone know if there are copies of the old Ronson Standard on the market? If so, who makes them? Google hasn't turned up much. If such a thing existed, would I still be better of refurbishing a Ronson? Thanks.
I saw this lighter in the movie Atonement, and would love to find out more about it or where I can find one like it. Of course, I have no idea if it is an actual Zippo lighter, (I would assume it is not) but I presume it could be a British lighter since the movie was set in Great Britain during WWII. I looked around the internet for a bit and count not find the style of lighter. I appreciate any help, thanks!
So this might not be the place to ask this question, but can someone give me a link to a site with a manual for one. Because i dont even know how to freaking use it :D
I have a ST Dupont lighter which does not seem to be working that well anymore. Whenever I try to light it, the flame lights for about a second and then just shuts off. Rotating the screw on the bottom does not seem to matter, the flame looks to be about the same size regardless if it is on max or low. I've always used the xtend brand fluid (from ST Dupont). Might this be repairable? http://imgur.com/r8jzUwZ
So like the title suggests, I found this yesterday. Does anyone know how it works? Or what type it is? Or how much it's worth? Also I need to refuel it but does it need a flint?
