I have a dominator 8 lin6 I recently acquired. I’m planning to mount it inside my camper shell on my tundra. I believe the wires are 20 gauge on the dominator, I’m planning to run them and the pattern change wire to a whelen avenger cigarette switch that I believe is 22 gauge. I’m going to use 18 gauge wire to go between the two as the plug has maybe 1 foot of wire and the bar has maybe 2 feet. Is this a bad idea? I know you usually don’t want a smaller wire feeding a bigger wire. I know the plug has a fuse, but I plan to put another inline fuse at the bar too for easy access. Just don’t want to burn the light up and especially don’t want to burn my truck up! Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I have a Whelen Liberty lfl SW8AAAA and I’m not sure what I need to get it up and running. I’ve seen some stuff about using a Whelen PCCS9LW or a Whelen WCC9, but I’m not sure of what I need. The bar only has 6 wires in 2 sets the first being power with the positive, negative, and what I assume is a ground with the second set being a green, grey, and bare wire. I just need to know what I need in order to make this thing work.
Any ideas
Background: I manage a fleet of vehicles used for personal protection… Is there a way to upfit a vehicle with a full size magnetic light bar BUT have a waterproof connection or port that can be terminated on the roof to remove the light bar when not wanted??
Want the vehicle to be lit up and noticeable when needed but also look like a normal vehicle on the road when it’s not needed.
I feel like it’s an easy kill… but maybe I’m not thinking from another perspective!
anyone have a video or instructions how to mount a rocker panel light on a 2021 Ford Explorer Police Int. with possible instruction on how to run the wire into the vehicle ?
Ty.
Hello all, I've had this light bar for quite a while and I have a few stones that have gone out. Having trouble finding replacement parts for it. Any help would be appreciated.
I had never be able to speech in elightbar forum, once I submitted register application and my account has been suddenly banned for spam.

Starting my collection with this all blue 54” Liberty. I believe it was decommissioned from somewhere in SC. The rear has two amber modules on the outboard. I plan on refurbishing this lightbar, cleaning the frame, restoring or replacing the lenses, adding super takedowns, and maybe make a few modifications like a WeCan Duo motherboard, and add amber/whites and probably mount it on my work truck. When testing the bar, I was looking for the power wire for the rear-center modules (brown & white wire) but I literally couldn’t find the wire. I might need to cut the harness a bit shorter but it just wasn’t there. I’m hoping I don’t have to replace the whole harness.
If a unit is equipped with a cencom core x and the cradlepoint for whelen cloud service and v2v sync etc, will changing the local programming for light patterns and button push functions generate a notification to the management of the cloud system? The core x controller is not locked out, and can be accessed by our end users if they have a key for the computer compartment where it is installed. I was interested to know if there was notifications that would be triggered if an end user made a program modification locally that changed the single end unit.
For example, “User A” decides to be a tech buff and reprogram the function of a button push on the slide controller to activate a different light pattern then the one installed at the up fitter. Would the cloud service manager receive a notification for the local program change? Or would I have to down load the program from the core controller and exam it for changes to know?
