Not a lot of reviews out there for these. Seems like very Good quality especially for Rossi.
Does anyone have a retical chart for the vortex 3-9 straight wall bdc for 360 buckhammer? Seems like someone would so I thought I'd check. Federal 180 grain.
I’m thinking of purchasing a JC Higgins Model 45 chambered in .35 rem and the gun appears to be in mint or near mint condition. Has the gold trigger and it just looks really good to me. From my research I understand that these are essentially a Marlin 336 with Ballard rifling and that the quality is on par with older JM marked Marlins (not a lever gun expert this is what I gather from the internet so it could be wrong info). With shipping it will cost me $700 or so. Is this a good deal? I also think they are pretty rare especially in .35 rem and this is the caliber I’m after. Would I be overpaying at $700.00?
Hi I am interested in seeing scout scope setups if y’all have pictures? I am looking into the Burris scout scope vs the leupold scout of anyone has experience or other options?
Hello all, I am needing some advice on preferences from people. I’m wanting to get something that shoots straight walled because hopefully if all goes to plan next year I will be heading out of state for a hunt. Anyways I’m currently stuck between 2 different cartridges. The 360 buck hammer and the 444marlin. And I’m looking at both in the Rossi R95. With this being said does anyone have experience with one or both and with the r95? Thank you in advance
Had my new marlin out for a hunt or 3 now and am starting to see the faint signs of surface rust. Whats everyone using for rust cleaning and prevention on these? Regular clp? Something different?
TIA!
Howdy y'all,
Has anyone ordered from Madpig Customs within the past 12 months and can attest to their actual lead times? Their website says 4-6 months, but there's a few people claiming it's more like 12-14 months if you're lucky.
Trying to decide if I should find a local shop to work with on building out an SBR lever gun or go with Madpig, but 12-14 months seems insane..?
Thanks in advance. Open to any other suggestions as well.
I've got an early 16.5" Rossi R95 I picked up right when they released, I'd like to put a large loop like the "triple black" version that recently released or the trapper has, but can't seem to find anything anywhere outside of R92 models (I have one of those too, the parts most definitely aren't the same).
Will a 336 lever work? I know it won't out of the box, but with some slight modification perhaps?
You can certainly find them if you spend enough time, but they're way less common than a 20" 44 mag or 30-30.
16" is handy and 357 is quite cheap/low recoil.
This is the look I'm looking for; But I was looking to get a 22lr lever-action, so what I'm wondering is, are the hand guards caliber specific? This hand guard says it "fits most" but would this fit a 22lr version? I've seen the Rossi tactical, but not a huge fan of the hand guard on that.
Also, being able to mount a red dot would be important.
Any help achieving this look for a 22lr would be very much appreciated, and thanks in advance.
I tried googling/youtubing my issue but my stock buttstock on my henry x big boy in 357/38 has a bit of play. I tightened down the screw but it did not help. Is this normal? I am not sure if its always been like that or if something happened. Havent dropped it or anything crazy like that. Maybe have like 300-400 rounds through it.
Any help would be appreciated! TIA
