Are there any Laramie restaurants open on Thanksgiving and/or Christmas?
I'm looking for something to do, I've been on the search for a job with no luck. Babysitting, dog walking, dog sitting I don't mind really anything but being stuck in the house with 2 dogs begins to twist your brain. I'm 16 don't go to school bout it.
I'm a tattoo apprentice in town and I'd like to get my name out there, using stickers! wondering if any of the people that walk or ride bikes or even university students know of any places you've seen a bunch of stickers so I can add mine, or even a place or two where they would look good if anyone (me) took advantage of it! @gowdfish on insta if you'd like to see the ones I've done already :)
Okay I'm a high school senior considering attending UW in the fall, and I'm also a lesbian. I've seen some gay clubs on Instagram that they have, but are people there really that open? I'm in a red state right now but my town is like "a blue berry in a bowl of tomato soup" so it's pretty nice. Would this be something that could he said about laramie? Thanks!
Hey! I am planning an ascent of Medicine Bow Peak for this next weekend. I have microspikes, hiking poles, and a lot of experience hiking in wintertime. Is this a good idea or am I in over my head?
I'm a wyotech student and plan on voting tomorrow. I only have an opinion on the presidential election I'm not from thus state and do not plan on staying for more then 9 months but I was curious who the Laramie residents would want for there representation. Between the 2 on the pamflet I was given,"Paul Montoya and Thad Hoff" (I don't know if there runing together or against each other) Whoever name pops up most in the comets I will put on my ballot or if enough pepole say not to vote I will leave the local portion of the ballot blank. As I said I'm not from wyoming and I don't know anything about the pepole runing for local office or what the peoole of Laramie are looking doe in there representation, so I'm asking here. Who do you want in your local government.
Someone left a pair of glasses and a National Geographic magazine and some dead flowers on a picnic table in Washington Park. I first saw them Thursday morning and I noticed there were still there today.

I have to do a pot luck. I want to get chicken tenders because who doesn’t like chicken tendies.
Which grocery store has the best chicken tenders? Safeway, Walmart, or Ridley’s?
I’m looking to sell a vehicle, and I’d like to get it detailed. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced place that does a good job?
Born and raised in Laramie I had recently went back to visit. It was 37 degrees out as I parked my car on Pine St. by the former Lincoln school. The former playground, and even worse, the love tree where Jennifer and I carved our names in the first grade, are both gone. :) Walking north I see that Bud’s Bar is still there, Chelos is gone as well as the viaduct, the scene of every after school fight. Spielberg’s Construction Co. is now another sort of construction company and Green’s has now become a restaurant. I made it to Bradley St. where I used to live, stood in front of my childhood home for a spell then headed back. I made it to the foot bridge and walked across to downtown. So much of this familiar landscape has changed but yet everything still feels the same. I met an uncle at the 17th St Diner. which used to be the old Rainbow Grocery Store, for a delicious breakfast and then spent the later morning investing into the local economy downtown. I miss this Gem City of the Plains.
I recently moved to Laramie from Utah. I'm liking it here but the one thing I really miss is Cane's. I've recently started a petition to bring one here. Once it gets 1000 signatures I'll try sending it to Cane's themselves. I know it's probably a long shot getting one here, but thought it'd be fun to try. Feel free to sign and share with your friends!
I'm a new student at WyoTech and I've been hearing that the locals "hate teckers" out here. I'm curious If there is any truth to that and if there is weather or not you separate or see a difference between WyoTech students and "Teckers"?
Me personally as I do atleast currently as in the "Teckers" are always looking for a party or to drink, but the students mainly are here to learn and get trained to build a career.
I was in class this morning at the College of Business at UWYO and a mouse came out of the closet multiple times towards the end of class. When I let someone know, they said it was the first report they heard of in the two years they worked there. I know there’s a bunch of deer mice up near Curt Gowdy.
I’ve been looking to move out of Colorado for awhile partly due to insurance premiums rocketing up due to fires and hail. A lot of the areas in the mountains here are becoming uninsurable. Are there any carriers that aren’t insuring within Laramie or on the outskirts of town? And do you have a range of what you’re paying for currently? TIA
Hey I visited Laramie this past weekend and have decided to move there next year around may/June, I've only been able to find two apartment complexes that don't have low income/arnt section 8, budget is about 1200/month would like either a 2 bedroom or a large 1 bedroom. All help is appreciated. Thank you.
new to the area i’m going too wyotech, looking for someone too buy unwashed farm eggs from since they keep longer and I’m too broke too be wasting food
Has anyone used greyhound before? I've been using Groome to go to the Denver Airport, but it seems they're not available in Laramie anymore. So I was thinking of using Greyhound instead, but the bus stop is pretty far from the downtown. Does anyone have any options to get from the Greyhound bus stop(pesto travel center) to downtown Laramie? Or Is it safe to just walk from there? Unfortunately I don't have a car.
I've never been there. I'm hoping to go this weekend to run some shells through a couple shotguns. Anyone been there recently? Is it still ok/legal to shoot there?
