I just bought a condo in Langley near the upcoming SkyTrain station (9 minute walk) I will be moving in 2025.

I don't know alot about the area and was wondering your thoughts about the city of Langley (safety, people traffic etc) it's essentially near the Fraser Highway and 200st.

Is there anything to look for anything to avoid etc ( I also started work in Langley, remote job 2 days in office)

I went to Creative Goldsmith on the bypass and the prices were a little steep. I’m prepared to spend an appropriate amount and may even go back there if I can’t find anyone I like.

I'm looking for individuals within Canada who are South Asian Adult Children of Alcoholics for my Masters thesis research study. Therefore, I'm hoping to post on this forum to gain participants. I've attached a brief description of my study.

"I am conducting a research study exploring the experiences of South Asian ACoAs (Adult Children of Alcoholics) and the meaning they associate with alcoholism. I am seeking to interview individuals raised in South Asian households with an alcoholic parent or one who misused alcohol, to better understand the cultural and mental health dynamics involved.

If you know anyone who may be interested in participating, I am looking for South Asian ACoAs who:

Identify as South Asian and were raised in a South Asian household.

Lived with a parent who struggled with alcoholism or alcohol misuse.

Are 19 years or older.

Are fluent in English for a 1-2 hour online interview.

So, I’m looking for creative ways to make some passive income from the extra space to help with the monthly payments—and to make the most of the extra square footage. I used to live in downtown Vancouver and got used to small spaces.

Hi Langley! I drive Fraser Hwy basically every day, and almost always there’s a big string of cars all in a line, going like 30km below the speed limit. I’m a pretty mellow person normally, I don’t know why this just gets me so disproportionately agitated.

The speed limit is mostly 70-80km/h in different areas. Tell your friends! Spread the word!

This place is, if I recall correctly, located in south Langley. It’s run by an older gentleman and I think his son although I could be wrong about the son part. From what I remember of a photo of the inside of the store it’s like a maze, just so many products.

Hi! I have a question. My husband and I live in a coach house. We share garbage bins with main house and basement people. The tenants of main house before help us with pulling out and putting back our garbage during weekly garbage collection. Last summer month of June they move out and new tenants of main house never showed any initiative to help us with the garbage. It's only my husband who pull out and put back the garbage. Sometimes, garbage bins has been sitting infront of their garage for 2 days and they won't put it back. They will wait for my husband to do it. (FYI. We haven't talk to them regarding this as we feel like they should know their responsibilities. We tried talking to the basement people but told us no english). What should we do? For us it should be shared responsibilities. Do we have the right to talk to them?
