Hey everyone,
I just bought a condo in Langley near the upcoming SkyTrain station (9 minute walk) I will be moving in 2025.
I don't know alot about the area and was wondering your thoughts about the city of Langley (safety, people traffic etc) it's essentially near the Fraser Highway and 200st.
Is there anything to look for anything to avoid etc ( I also started work in Langley, remote job 2 days in office)
Anyone here working on the 208st construction know when it’ll be completed? I just wanna drive man
Hey, looking to see if anyone knows of a good goldsmith in the lower mainland for an engagement ring?
I went to Creative Goldsmith on the bypass and the prices were a little steep. I’m prepared to spend an appropriate amount and may even go back there if I can’t find anyone I like.
If anyone knows of a good independent goldsmith, I would love to give them my business. Please dm me or leave a comment if they are okay with that. Thanks
We purchased a 2 bedrooms B2 floor plan with 935 sq ft feature sheet, the completion disclosed is 914 sq ft.
21 sq ft less.
Do we have any leverage with the developer here? Please advise, thanks.
Latimer owners for the same floor plan, please let us know if you have explore any legal advice for this fraud. We are overpaying the developer over $15,000.
They can’t get away with this.
My wife likes to walk or drive around to see Halloween decorations and haunted houses, but we don’t know where to go, and we live in Langley.
Hi everyone, just wondering if there's anything fun happening in or around town for Halloween. In the past, my ex and I always just had a little gathering / house party with our friends, so I'm not sure what actually goes on around town (if anything).
Looking for participants for a South Asian Adult Children of Alcoholics for a Masters thesis research study.
I'm looking for individuals within Canada who are South Asian Adult Children of Alcoholics for my Masters thesis research study. Therefore, I'm hoping to post on this forum to gain participants. I've attached a brief description of my study.
"I am conducting a research study exploring the experiences of South Asian ACoAs (Adult Children of Alcoholics) and the meaning they associate with alcoholism. I am seeking to interview individuals raised in South Asian households with an alcoholic parent or one who misused alcohol, to better understand the cultural and mental health dynamics involved.
If you know anyone who may be interested in participating, I am looking for South Asian ACoAs who:
Identify as South Asian and were raised in a South Asian household.
Lived with a parent who struggled with alcoholism or alcohol misuse.
Are 19 years or older.
Are fluent in English for a 1-2 hour online interview.
Participation is voluntary, and participants can withdraw at any time. If interested, please contact me at Shobia.vaseeharan@mytwu.ca or 604 446 5229."
Thank you so much.
Why so many people here today? It’s like Christmas or something. No parking spots in the front & half full in the back.
If anyone witnessed a white ford escape getting rear ended by a black or dark coloured pick up truck on highway 15 heading north just before 80ave at around 6:45pm, I would greatly appreciate if you can reach out to me to come forward as a witness or if you have dashcam footage that may have caught the plate number!
Does anyone know any driving school either in Langley or Surrey that teaches manual ?
Hi Reddit! I’m buying a townhouse in Langley, BC, as a single person. While I don’t really need two bedrooms, that’s what I’m getting. So, I’m looking for creative ways to make some passive income from the extra space to help with the monthly payments—and to make the most of the extra square footage. I used to live in downtown Vancouver and got used to small spaces.
I’d love ideas on how to retain it as my primary residence while setting up a side hustle from home. I’m also open to renting out one bedroom. How challenging is it to find a good tenant?
Are content creators house a thing in Langley, if I’m open to sprucing up the place?
Can I start a food truck and park it in my garage?
Should I pet sit for people? Should I grow Saffron in my garage?
Would love to hear your thoughts. 😁
Hi Langley! I drive Fraser Hwy basically every day, and almost always there’s a big string of cars all in a line, going like 30km below the speed limit. I’m a pretty mellow person normally, I don’t know why this just gets me so disproportionately agitated.
The speed limit is mostly 70-80km/h in different areas. Tell your friends! Spread the word!
Thanks that is all :)
The bridal store I got my dress from doesn’t offer this and I’d like to get my dress cleaned (not preserved).
I thought I had bookmarked it but I can’t find it anywhere. (I have a lot of bookmarks. 😂)
This place is, if I recall correctly, located in south Langley. It’s run by an older gentleman and I think his son although I could be wrong about the son part. From what I remember of a photo of the inside of the store it’s like a maze, just so many products.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Hi! I have a question. My husband and I live in a coach house. We share garbage bins with main house and basement people. The tenants of main house before help us with pulling out and putting back our garbage during weekly garbage collection. Last summer month of June they move out and new tenants of main house never showed any initiative to help us with the garbage. It's only my husband who pull out and put back the garbage. Sometimes, garbage bins has been sitting infront of their garage for 2 days and they won't put it back. They will wait for my husband to do it. (FYI. We haven't talk to them regarding this as we feel like they should know their responsibilities. We tried talking to the basement people but told us no english). What should we do? For us it should be shared responsibilities. Do we have the right to talk to them?
