Haven't painted in awhile. It was a blast making this artwork. Very open to constructive criticisms. 👌
im new to krita and its animation feature and i tried it out yesterday with 0 problems! unfortunately, i tried rendring a small animation for my class and it seems that the gif is only the first frame (gif file for transparency) that renders when i try exporting it
does anyone know how to fix this? im kind of in a time crunch sadly, thanks so much!
here's my render settings:
as the tittle says, is there a way to see the krita thumbnails in the android file manager, i often forget what i drew on what and use the thumbnails in my desktop to see what drawing is what and i recently got an android tablet to draw on the go but kinda miss them.
i am currently trying to draw a series of hexagonal panels connected by joints along a curved path. something similar in concept to a spinal column or a string of beads. are there efficient ways to draw these?
Hey everyone (sorry if this is the wrong flair). So I started digital art a few days ago and I've been really enjoying it, but I will admit the process has been also stressful since I'm going into unknown territory. Are there any tips you can give to someone who's new to digital art? Like for example I really struggle to sketch free hand, which I feel embarrassed about... I'll show my best attempt for art below. All help will be appreciated.
So I'm trying to learn to animate using Krita. I feel I may have come across a glitch as when I try to flip though the frames using the arrow key, Krita will move through the different frames to begin with, but after about 5 or 6 tries, it suddenly stops changing image, even though it is showing that the timeline is being moved through. When this happens, I am also unable to add anything to the frames. When I try, nothing appears from my pen. Has anyone had this issue before?
How come .zip files aren't supported? I was trying to add a brush bundle and it wouldn't pop up in the import resources menu so I think that might be it </3
I don't know about getting good but some of the concepts I'm coming up with is interesting.
It's really annoying me that eraser doesn't destroy all pixels in its range and leaves behind semi-transparent pixels that can become a huge problem later for me.
I was drawing and must've pressed a weird button but Tool Options switched to another thing. I'm looking to switch it back to the stabiliser option under the same docker (Brush Smoothing: Stabiliser, distance and delay) but am lost on how to do it
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I've used Ibis Paint to draw for as long as I can remember, but I recently switched to Krita. Ive been trying to find brushed that blend easily, or have a soft look to them (?) like the ones I mainly used in Ibis, but I can't seem to find any. The wet paint brushes are the closest thing I can get to it, but it still doesn't feel right. For reference, the brushes in the picture are the ones I mainly use in ibis paint so if anyone can help me find a brush that looks similar to them, I'd really appreciate it! I've only been using krita for a short while, so I apologise if this is a stupid question lol
