When using the brush tool in cmyk color setting I get a grey outline to my black strokes,
this does not happen in rgb, I am extremely new to krita, can someone explain.
edit: pic in comments
Since I gathered alot of upvotes on my previous posts, which are really detailed, here, take this cute art of myself for a change of pace^^
Just wondering if the Steam version of krita supports using steam cloud to back up projects and artworks.
if it does then I'd definitely buy it just for that.
though I don't know if it would since there seems to be some limit steam cloud capacity per game.
And this limit seems to differ between different games.
for example as far as I can tell, BL3 has about 95MB
while skyrim special edition seems to have around 950MB.
I am working on a texture I am making, and I made it in another file and did not realize how there is no option for me to export the wrap around version of it.
I want to export it as the wrap around Verison, but it didn`t work, so I now decided to enable the grid and just began trying to research this rabbit hole of ways to enable me to just plaster copies of the image on the grid, and yet
the snapping edit does not work
the images do not snap to the grid nomatter what I do
and there are always blank gaps between the images
what do I do so that I can export the images onto a bigger file, copy and paste them so that they duplicate in the similar manner to that of the wrap around tool
or better yet, please let me know how I could possibly save the wrap around version of my image, save it as is, and adjust the size of each individual image while keeping the grid size 1024x1024 (IE I want the image size to be the same, while I can individually make the singular image be either 256x256 or smaller)
I am making a texture for a game, and I need to fiddle with the sizing. So the more easily I can adjust the size of the individual image without affecting the overall size of the file (the 1024x1024 ) the better
thank you
Scrub the timeline*
I am trying to I work on some animation in Krita, only if the painful things is switching between frames on the timeline.
Is there a shortcut I can press like an arrow key or something to scrub through the timeline?
for a while now when i used the transform tool the alt functions kinda switched? i dont really know how to explain that, but i showed it in the video
it happened a while ago. i mightve accidentally click something and it caused it to act like that
its not that big of a deal, ive kinda learned to live with it, but it still is pretty annoying and id appreciate if someone helped me revert it back to normal
I really need help. I can't open datas with hours amount of work and one of them has a deadline (due to Christmas). My guess is that either the data is too big or something didn't properly save.
I only get that error, whenever I try to open one of those. Has anyone ideas what could be the problem??
Whenever I use Krita for the first time or after downloading it, the cursor works fine initially. However, after using it for a while, I start to experience some lag. I can’t apply dots because it only touches the layer and creates a long line instead. I don’t know how to fix this, so my solution has been to delete the software and reinstall it.
BADLY NEED HELP PLS!
I made this with only the stuff I figured out on my own. And I want tip to improve my skills since I myself can see many areas I can improve in.
When I hover over the viewport with pen cursor it tracks, but if I lift it away from the display more than an inch it gets stuck in the same position until I hover over any toolbar. I am using a Wacom One 13, not sure if it is an issue with that or Krita, other software work as expected. Any help or idea is much appreciated!
Learning to put texture
I've recently installed a new graphics card, a Radeon RX550, the card working flawlessly in everything i've put it to work on. However, when using Krita, i've noticed my brush strokes now have a lag; sometimes they lag behind in the middle of the stroke, but what's certain is that the brush will always be laggy when starting and ending the brush stroke.
I have not changing anything in my Krita configurations besides switching to OpenGL, which seems to work slightly better than Direct3D 11.
