A few months ago i was using krita as normally, but when i changed the size of a brush, selected a different brush, and then selected the first one again the custom brush size i selected would reset back to the default one. Does anyone know why this happens or how can i fix it? It doesnt make me unable to draw but its increasingly annoying to deal with and slows down my work flow. I've updated my krita to the latest version and still experience the bug, ive been experiencing it with at least 2 other versions too.

My krita is currently 5.2.6 and my laptop has windows 11 Home and its brand is HP

I tried using the color mask in a recent piece of art using both the free stroke and mask tool as color guidance but when i activate the mask it just paints the whole thing white, what is going on?

Can someone help me with this? I make drawings with krita on my Surface Go. I used to have something like a digital external dark toolbar with shortcuts for commants like ´undo, redo, erase´, etc. that would appear on the left side of my Surface screen when I clicked on a mouse-icon on my taskbar. Now I reinstalled windows and with that all my previous downloads are gone (as I wanted) but now I dont´t know where I downloaded this practical toolbar from. Does anyone know what I mean and can tell me where I can download that again? Or recomment an alternative?

Hellooo, i was just wondering how do you watch timelapses from krita on other devices.

When exporting a timelapse of my drawing, it says im using ffmpeg— which is not available on my android.. so everytime i do open the file it goes pitch black and says it is unable to open the file— while it can be perfectly viewed on my laptop without any issue.. is there any other ways I could view the video so I can post it on social media from my phone? Thanks!

I recently bought a Huion 1060p tablet for my little cousin. His PC is quite old and Krita doesn't work optimally on Windows 10, therefore I installed Ubuntu 24.04 on that Desktop, with Krita and HuinTablet software, since these are supported on Linux as well. The main issue is that while having HuionTablet software opened, he cannot draw in Krita, but the macros set on the tablet or the pen are working just fine. If the HuionTablet software is closed the drawing part is working, but the macros are not. Do you have any tips for this?

So I was painting a still life and I accidentally set the record feature to 0.1 s capture interval. Now I have 244gb worth of data and a 1000 images, to top with that I changed my save location after my previous disk got full 😅 . Now when I try to export thar folder it just doesn't instead It creates a new folder inside the old folder and starts recording. Is there anyway I can export the 1000 images into a video?

I've been experimenting with Krita brushes for a while now, I've been trying since this morning to recreate the Microsoft Paint marker but I haven't been able to.

I've already tried the flow and opacity options in the pixel engine and it seems that with the opacity I can get a similar result, only when I pass the line over itself to check it's not what I expected. Then I tried the flow option but it has a strange result.

After investigating a little more I came across the Painting Mode option that by default uses Wash that allows you to use opacity and flow separately and the other option BuildUp that combines both so I tried with BuildUp if it could work but it seems to be exactly the same as the result of flow with Wash.

What could I do?
