Hi! I just got my first Kindle and my free 3-month kindle unlimited trial, and I want to abuse that before it runs out. I'm in college and love fantasy, but I'm starting to grow out of the classic teen fantasy. I like a little romance and tension sometimes, but I get bored reading through an entire chapter of smut, which happens a few times in most teen fantasy books I see nowadays. I loved Throne of Glass, and all the other big Sarah J Maas books, but I want something a little different. I recently got very into the Tales of Earthsea (I highly recommend), and I just started reading Fourth Wing via KU, which isn't bad so far. What do you recommend? I want to broaden my horizons a bit!
I want to cancel my Amazon prime membership, I don’t use it enough anymore and I don’t utilize Prime video at all. However I downloaded my kindle unlimited through my Amazon account. However would I go about keeping my kindle account?
I joined the recent promotion of $0.99 for 3 months but I didn't realize it is a subset of the Kindle books available on Amazon, not all Kindle books. Given you can't actually keep the books to begin with it seems you'd at least have access to all Kindle books as long as you had a paid subscription. Any perks to point out that might make it more appealing that I might not know?
Are any of you readers in a book club? I want to join one but I want to read what I want to read or in other words..I’ll read the requirements but I might DNF it if it doesn’t get me hooked by 50%. I also want a space where I can just blab about whatever I’m currently reading 😬 which at the moment is “The Mind F series”. 10/10 recommend so far.
UPDATE I am in Fable now friends 🥳
Does anyone have suggestions for books with a female protagonist that isn’t a romance/ doesn’t really have a romance subplot for the character? I am open to really any genre! i’m new to KU and am a little overwhelmed with the choices!
This novella is a sci-fi novella about the story of space pilot Jessica Hamilton. She awakens from suspension in a vast spaceship, her memories gone, the crew missing. Where is she headed? Why is she alone? How did she get here? Join Hamilton as she unravels the mystery behind her mission's purpose and its origins in a story that explores the outer bounds of communications and the nature of life in the universe.
It's available on Kindle Unlimited (as well as paperback and ebook on Amazon): https://www.amazon.com/Notes-Star-Brian-Dolan-ebook/dp/B0DCGGTC77/
I hope you enjoy the story and please leave a review! I look forward to your feedback.
Recently got a kindle and I need someone to dumb it down for me. Here are a few questions I have:
Sorry if the answers are obvious, I’m just super confused and want to maximize the use of my kindle!
Stoicism isn't just a philosophy; it's a practical approach to life. It offers resilience and strength when things feel overwhelming. For people with ADHD, moving through life can bring challenges. Stoicism can give them a new perspective with a steady compass, helping them move through life with more focus and determination.
Through Stoic teachings, individuals with ADHD can gain greater self-awareness and opportunities for personal growth. By accepting their neurodiversity as an integral part of who they are, they can build a stronger connection to the world around them as they navigate the ups and downs of their lives. Stoicism can provide an often missing constant source of support, encouraging them to face challenges and thrive despite the difficulties they encounter.
Looking for an action series that is included with kindle unlimited. Looking for something along the lines of the gray man series or jack reacher. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi! Does anyone have any KU fantasy romance suggestions? I’d prefer one where the male love interest is actually sweet. Not looking for a broody asshole love interest
Thanks!
Hello folks, seem a few similar posts but trying to confirm this specific situation….
not new to Kindle but new to finally subscribing to unlimited.
I subscribed on Nov 4th for the 30 day free then $11.99 a month (most of the trash I read is KU and usually I was reading a few a month so seems worth it and most of the items i cant get library/Libby)…
Wondering if I cancel before the 4th of December (while still in the 30 day trial) will I be able to grab the Black Friday .99 for 3 months? I see its for new members only but wondering bc my pay period didnt start yet am I still maybe considered new?
Granted since I only have 4 days left if i cancel and i cant get the trial Im thinking id be in the same spot but curious before I do it if anyone tried before their current free trial ended.
Thanks!
Hi all I have bought my partner a kindle for her bday I believe you get 3 months free unlimited when it gets set up but not sure. I have used the kindle app on my phone before and today got an offer for 3 months of unlimited for 0.99p. I was wondering if I claim that offer would I then be able to stack the 3 months free on top of it when she sets her kindle up so it would end up with 6 months for 0.99p or can you not stack offers together? Tia

I’m not a fast reader but my TBR is growing and I get most of my books from Libby. A lot of these books are on KU and have long wait times on Libby. How many books would I need to read from KU to get my moneys worth per month?
EDIT And how does it work, as long as I have the subscription the books I've downloaded will stay on my Kindle?
UPDATE: I’ve joined 🤭 I can finally start knocking books off my TBR and not have to worry they’ll go away or someone is waiting (Libby).
Hi, so to elaborate, I'm a new Kindle owner and know not much about KU, lol. I wanted to try the free trial but I would like to cancel till I see if I like it or not before it auto renews. If I cancel once I do the trial, do I still have KU the entire month or does it automatically cancel everything even if the 30 days isn't up? :')

Does anyone else run into frequent issues downloading books? The past 2 or 3 days I haven’t even been able to access the bookstore at all, either getting errors or it loads a blank pg except for the search bar (that does’t work). Been having problems for a while, but it’s getting more frequent. On the days I get lucky and it does load everything, the buttons and links don’t do anything other than change color so it recognizes I’m pressing, but it won’t download or take me to the links. Usually the download sample is all I can do, then I have to swipe thru to the end of the sample until it ask to take me to the store to download, but even then there’s a 50/50 chance it will download from there. Probably have 3 or 4 days a month the store actually works as should. Is this normal, or is my Kindle Fire just too old maybe? It’s really frustrating!!!
I've seen multiple articles from sites like HuffPost and USA Today that advertised a black Friday KU deal that lets you subscribe to 3 months for $1. The problem is that whenever I click on any of the links or try to subscribe to KU directly from Amazon I don't see the deal. I just see the regular price of $11.99. I'm not currently subscribed so idk why it's not available to me. Has anyone else had this issue?
I'm located in the U.S.
Hi all, so it's my birthday today (37!) and I thought I'd put my request out to the reddit gods for a nice present: please read my funny book and leave a review!!
It's a farcical historical fiction, set in Victorian London. For anyone who has been to the UK, the whole story follows the Victoria Line and each chapter is the following station on the train line. It has been compared to Blackadder and follows the life of a tyrannical monarch, a not-so-secret agent, and an Indian man.
As for me, I'm a British guy with few prospects. I'm incredibly boring, introverted to the extreme, work for a data company and, perhaps even more concerning, am ginger. So help a stranger with little hope. Give it a read, and if you enjoy it, then a lovely birthday present would be a nice review for a stranger 😊

About me: I'm 15. I love reading, specially books that are more game themed. I love reading Minecraft themed books with twists. If you have any suggestions for me, please drop them below! I usually keep reading the same books again and again but yeah... I spent 3-9 hours in 24 hours reading, depending on what I have on my reading list.
My family has an Amazon prime account and my kids have Amazon kids + accounts as well. If I get kindle unlimited how does it work with family sharing. My daughter is getting a kindle for Christmas and I would like her to be able to get her own books. I don’t necessarily want her to see my thriller or romance novels. Would we each need our own paid kindle unlimited account. We are located in the us
Hi! I’m thinking of buying a Kindle but I’m lost. I’ve picked up reading again and I’ve never even used a kindle before. What’s the best option? I love the feeling of the physical book, and I have no idea about features. Help?
So I’m trying to return a book I downloaded and it’s not giving me the option that it usually does when I press and hold on it. How can I remove the book from my library because I wanna make space for more of them?
Looking for really filthy smut books that’s gives me those tingles. NO FANTASY!!!!
I just got Kindle for the unlimited. I prefer physical books, but I’m piling up books with nowhere to put them and I’m often reading at the barn where I don’t want my books to get dirty. I swapped from Nook to Kindle BECAUSE of the unlimited. Im trying to get my physical library in kindle to start, but almost none of them are available. And they’re all big name books. Why is this?
Don't know if this deal is also available in other Amazon stores, but yesterday I randomly clicked the KU button on a book listing to try my luck as I don't subscribe unless I can get a good deal and my last one was two months for 99p back in August, so not that long ago.
To my surprise it offered me three months for 99p (which I took) and it's one of the deals listed in a promotional Black Friday email I got this morning.
Just sharing in case it's useful and apologies if someone else already has posted about it.
